Hi Clint, Can you pastebin the output of sudo apache2ctl -S -indra Sent from Samsung Mobile -------- Original message -------- From: "clint.deckard" <clint.deckard(a)frontiers.co.nz> Date:24/09/2014 07:57 (GMT+05:30) To: Koha-List <koha(a)lists.katipo.co.nz> Subject: [Koha] name-based virtualhost problem I would appreciate some help diagnosing a problem. I have three package installed Koha instances running on a Debian server, for a number of weeks all has been OK but today the opac address for one instance leads to the opac of another. The admin interface operates without issue though. I have reloaded the config and restarted apache but the problem remains. Any assistance would be appreciated. by andit 23 Sep '14

23 Sep '14

Hi everyone. I have been trying to setup email notices in Koha 3.14 and now 3.16. But the table message_queue never gets any records it's always empty. For a more immediate test, i have been creating new patrons, to see if i get the message on registration (the system preferences option is enabled) but nothing. Any ideas? Thanks. -- View this message in context: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/Message-Queue-always-empty-tp5812411.html Sent from the Koha-general mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

full admin interface
by Ian D 23 Sep '14

Hi Is it possible to use the full administration interface remotely through a web browser. It just seems that when I log in from remote I only get a limited interface even if I log in as koha_library But if I log in through lynx locally, also using koha_library, I get more administration menus and stuff. Thanks

by Manoj Soni 23 Sep '14

23 Sep '14

Dear Alll In koha database, using xampp, items table, in field homebranch, which had varchar (4), I made it to varchar(5) , , Then I changed the data in homebranch field, For example it was ABCD and now it is ABCDE but in the search in OPAC, advanced search., If I find by ABCDE, it does not find any thing It says, no results found items.homebranch=ABCDE in the backend, it shows all the data with ABCDE in homebranch field in items table. Also I changed branch code in branch table from ABCD to ABCDE Where should be the problem Thanks and Regards Manoj

Put Barcodes in Books Without Barcodes Automatically
by Alyssa Enganio Gono 23 Sep '14

23 Sep '14

I have already catalog and save 9000 books . To make KOHA fully functional, I was planning to print the barcodes of all the books but I noticed that I forgot to put barcodes on it during cataloging. Now, the problem is, it is very tedious if I will manually edit all the items I'd saved just to put barcodes on it. Is there any functionality built-in within KOHA, that query all books with no barcodes and put barcodes automatically on it? Thanks. -- View this message in context: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/Put-Barcodes-in-Books-Without-Barcodes-Au… Sent from the Koha-general mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Patron Card Images pixelated in PDF
by Prof. Lisandro Laura 23 Sep '14

23 Sep '14

Hi everyone! I am new with Koha and I have been trying to print decent Patron Cards but the result is not filling out my expectations. Patron images and library logo are pixelated despite size, DPI and format (jpg png). Patron images on screen are good looking quality, but pixelated when processing batch in the resulting PDF. I have been googling around with no luck. I am running Koha 3.16 over Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (updated the system a few days ago with apt-get). Any ideas? Thank you in advance, Lisandro

by vishal patil 22 Sep '14

Hi all, I am facing problem with implementing 3M RFID system with koha, from log file I am getting below error: *Can't connect to TCP port 6001 on 0.0.0.0 [Address already in use]* Koha version 3.02 OS = OpenSUSE 12.2 SIP 2.0 <service port="8023/tcp" transport="telnet" protocol="SIP/2.00" timeout="60" /> <service port="0.0.0.0:6001/tcp" transport="telnet" protocol="SIP/2.00" timeout="60" /> </listeners> I assigned the 0.0.0.0 IP address and port 6001 to the service, but I want to start it using specific IP address say 178.79.221.342:6001, when I changes the IP from 0.0.0.0 to any specific IP address the SIP service is not getting started. I am using below commands to start SIP: export KOHA_CONF=/path to koha-conf.xml export PERL5LIB=/path to kohaclone perl -I C4/SIP/ -MILS C4/SIP/SIPServer.pm C4/SIP/SIPconfig.xml & but when I checked with ps -ef | grep SIP service is not showing as started. -- *Warm Regards,Vishal Patil*Software Engineer - Nucsoft Ltd. phone: 022 32080161 | mob: 08767505528 www.osslabs.biz www.nucsoft.com vishal.patil(a)osslabs.biz
