SIP2 Problem

Hi All, We are using Amazon EC2 linux wheezy (64 bit) instance for running koha 3.16.01, We are running Sip2 server now although we changed the line (port="127.0.0.1:6001/tcp") to our amazon private ip like this (port="10.106.151.178:6001/tcp") but when trying to logging by telnet the log file also gets us this error Bad arg length for Socket::unpack_sockaddr_in, length is 28, should be 16 at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/SIP/Socket.pm line 830. Although, the desired ports are opened and there's no any typo. thanks

Data Import problem in lates versions

Dear All, I am observing some data import related issues in 3.16.3/4 version but when i imported same record in 3.14.5 it worked fine and everything goes well approx 60 thousand record. Now in latest version when i am importing, it stuck at some point/% and ultimately i got error message. The structure of my record is almost similar to below one, I feel their may be some more strict data validating rules in latest version of Koha which cause this problem but my marcedit software does not shows any error during validating the records. Z39.50 server for children's books

Does anybody know of a Z39.50 server that would have Scholastic books, and lesser known Christian books? I've seen the directory at http://irspy.indexdata.com but this does not help. Also, what server would have DVDs in them? We are not finding any of our DVDs in any server. We are currently using British Library, Columbia University, Metro-Boston Library Network, Smithsonian Institution Libraries, Library of Congress. Greetings all, The Koha North America User's Group is making plans for its 2nd annual meeting! We intend to hold the meeting in August of 2015. We would like to invite proposals from agencies and libraries from mid to east side of the United States to host this meeting. The meeting will be comprised of 2 days for sessions and presentations, and 2 days for hackfest. Information in your proposal should include (but does not need to be limited to) the following information: 1. The location and what kind of conference facility would be offered. Confirm that the site would have internet and other technology available to enable presentations and general connectivity. 2. Dates when the meeting could occur at the proposed location. 3. Information about transportation -- the closest airports and train stations and how one could get from these places to the meeting site. 4. Lodging in the area. 5. Hi guys, I'm on Koha 3.16.4 installed using Debian package. I explored a bit, and here is what I've found out: Let's say a book is issued, and two people have placed hold on it, Bob and Arslan. Bob has priority over Arslan. When I check-in the book, Koha gives me a message "Hold Found" and gives option to "Confirm Hold". See http://i.imgur.com/JFOZhi1.png I "Confirm Hold", and now the book's hold page looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/3TvWLpI.png, and an email is sent to Bob. Note the "Priority" column, and the selected option "Waiting". Now, if we issue the book to "Bob", or if we/he cancel his hold request, then there will be only one hold left in the queue, for Arslan. See http://i.imgur.com/QD0DKYq.png. Note the "Priority" column again, now it won't have the "Waiting" option. Only option other then numerical priority is the option "del". Question: Is this a bug? The non-availability of "Waiting" option in the "Priority" column? I think there is no way to turn a hold into "Waiting" state, except when checking-in a book. email notices about hold awaiting

Dear All I am using Ubuntu Koha 3.16. I am facing an issue. When 2 or 3 persons reserved an issued book system sets priority for them. As that issued book returned in library, system send an auto generated email (Hold awaiting for pick up) to the person who is at first priority. when that person issues this book and return it in the library, system send an email for holds awaiting pick up to the person in queue and so on... But if first person cancel his hold after receiving email for holds awaiting pick up, System does not send email to the person in queue. So He can Pick it from library. Would anyone please tell what should do for this situation.
