-------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Koha 3.16.03 Opac No results found! Date: Wed, 19 Nov 2014 09:25:44 +0200 (EET) From: Ozkan OZMEN <ozkanozmen(a)balikesir.edu.tr> To: koha-owner(a)lists.katipo.co.nz Hi all, I moved koha 3.16.01 database on test machine to koha 3.16.03 on another machine. And I run zebra normally. I showed that catalog search in intranet is correct but I got a warning that "No results found!" for same search in opac. I looked system preferences but everything seems correct. Do you have any idea for this problem? Thanks for your help. Recover deleted books
by Jorge de Cardenas 18 Nov '14

I had a similar problem not long ago and discovered that at least on my system the table structure of the deleted tables did not match the structure of their counter parts. The result was that directly inserting from the deleted tables did not match up and data was lost. In other words even though the tables had the same fields they were not in the same order. I was using something I found online. insert into biblio (select * from deletedbiblio where biblionumber=100); delete from deletedbiblio where biblionumber=100; insert in to items (select * from deleteditems where biblionumber=100); delete from deleteditems where biblionumber=100; insert in to biblioitems (select * from deletedbiblioitems where biblionumber=100); delete from deletedbiblioitems where biblionumber=100; What I did was restored a backup to a test server and created a tables to use to restore from on the live server. Report help needed
by Elaine Bradtke 18 Nov '14

18 Nov '14

I have a request for a report that is beyond my paltry abilities and that of the report builder. I have this, and it works (thanks Liz!): SELECT biblio.biblionumber,biblio.title,biblio.notes,biblioitems.publishercode,biblioitems.itemtype FROM biblioitems LEFT JOIN biblio USING (biblionumber) WHERE biblioitems.itemtype='CR' But I need to add in more columns that involve the MARC XML Specifically 780 t (previous title) 780 w (previous control no.) 866 a (holdings) 866 z (note) 867 e (source) When I try to add in: Extract value ExtractValue(marcxml, '//datafield[@tag="780"]/subfield[@code="t"]') I manage to break the above query and it complains of syntax errors. Does it matter where this Extract phrase comes in? How do you handle multiple subfields (780 t and w for instance) For that matter, how do you handle multiple fields? And how can I label the columns The following (and a few variations on the theme) did not work: SELECT biblio.biblionumber,biblio.title,biblio.notes,biblioitems.publishercode,biblioitems.itemtype ExtractValue(marcxml, '//datafield[@tag="780"]/subfield[@code="t"]') ExtractValue(marcxml, '//datafield[@tag="780"]/subfield[@code="w"]') ExtractValue(marcxml, '//datafield[@tag="866"]/subfield[@code="a"]') ExtractValue(marcxml, '//datafield[@tag="866"]/subfield[@code="z"]') FROM biblioitems LEFT JOIN biblio USING (biblionumber) WHERE biblioitems.itemtype='CR' As always I am very, very grateful for whatever help you can give.
