I have a freshly installed Koha 3.16 in a Debian Server. I already imported the MARC records into the catalog, but when I search it on Opac , there is no results found. What shall I do now? I really have to fix it? -- View this message in context: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/No-Result-Founds-in-Opac-Search-tp5818575… Sent from the Koha-general mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Hello Jameela, If you know Koha database structure and know SQL then create SQL script and insert in database. Bulk return
by Jameela P 13 Nov '14

13 Nov '14

Please advice me on following... Recently we failed to use LMS KOHA due to some technical problem. At that time we have done bulk return of books of about 12, 000. We have maintained the bar code of these returned books in excel spreadsheet. Is there any provision to return this book in KOHA in one go, or need I return the book one by one. I have doubts on following issue. 1.We have 03 VIP members who have the privilege to borrow n number of books. I want to generate report (in excel or CSV) for these members. The report may contain all the bibliographical data like ISBN, Class No. , title, author, publisher, eidtion, barcode, price, etc.....The report available in KOHA version 3.12.05.000 does not have the field Title, author etc.... Our main library consist of 3 Branches of library situated at different locations having 2500 books each. The databases of books of all these branches are maintained in KOHA database. The branch libraries now require the database of the books held at their library separately. They want almost all the field of bibliographical data like ISBN, Class No., title, author, edition, publication, physical description, bar code etc...So please advice me on the following 1) How to generate full report on transferred books in excel or CSV format 2) I have checked the same in SQL Report Library in Wiki.Koha community (Item 4.34), but failed to access the requirement as I am a first time user of SQL report generation methods. Request educate me on the above. Jameela, Information Assistant at Indian Naval Academy

How can I extract a list of vendors?
by Elaine Bradtke 13 Nov '14

13 Nov '14

We're running 3.16 and a colleague would like a list of the vendors we use. I don't see any way to do this through the staff interface, or via a report. Is it possible to do it otherwise? If so could you give me enough info so I can pass it on to my IT person? Adding a field to an existing record
by Stacy Pober 13 Nov '14

13 Nov '14

We're using Koha version 3.16.04.000. Sometimes we want to edit a MARC record in Koha and add a field that is not already in the record - for example, a 910 field. The 910 field is listed in the framework set up for that record type, but when we go to the editing interface the field is not present. How can we make sure a field that is in a framework is available for editing? It's not a mandatory field, and we don't wish to make it one. There are various empty fields available, but this particular one is not. What controls the presence or absence of a particular field in Koha's record editing module? (I know we can add this field prior to importing it into the catalog. This is for those occasions when we want to add it after import.)
