[snip] It is true on our production box (and its backup; sandbox in other use) Koha: 3.08.05.000 on Linux 3.2.0-31-generic (12.04LTS), Perl version: 5.014002, MySQL version: mysql 5.5.24, Apache version: 2.2.22, Zebra: 2.0.44 Pls see <http://opac.navalmarinearchive.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?q=kent+beyon…>, two biblios for Kent, "Beyond the reef": one is good, the other has been deleted, gives a 404 on the OPAC page, but will not go away from Zebra by cron job alone (it will go away next time I CLI re-index.) I have a feeling that when zebra says "incremental" it means just that -- adding new data, but not deleting what has gone from MySQL. Slightly different case, <http://opac.navalmarinearchive.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?q=steele+wor…> -- this was produced by "overwriting" an existing biblio (old, incomplete) with a new Z39.50, and adding an item -- it's the same biblio, but the "dead" instance will not disappear until I re-index. This is a further example of the (for us) need to CLI re-index as the cronjob does not handle it. Koha 3.16.4, patron card creator and overlapping patron images
by eugene jose espinoza 16 Nov '14

16 Nov '14

Using Koha 3.16.4, I'm trying out patron card creator. I read in the Koha manual that uploaded images for patron images should be 200 x 300 pixels. I have the almost same settings here: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3a5TmjTcFRc/U1eNM5Ae1ZI/AAAAAAAAKEY/VfpWnznLeAU/s… Whenever I download the pdf file of batch, I see another picture with settings 180x137 overlapped in the next picture with settings 140x140pixels. For patrons without uploaded images, the pictures shown are the pictures in the left side. Are these suspect for bugs? Or I miss out on something? Thanks in advance and cheers! | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | View on 1.bp.blogspot.com | Preview by Yahoo | | | | |

Re: [Koha] Zebra problems

Hi David and Robin, Thank you very much for your replies. I am using Marc21. Since I still have not figured out how to see my records I'm trying Robin's suggestions first. Stopping and starting the zebra daemon with sudo /etc/init.d/koha-common stop sudo /etc/init.d/koha-common start doesn't seem to make any difference. I've tried rebuilding zebra several times with several very similar commands as suggested in various earlier koha problem letters. The output looks about the same each time. library@cathlibcomputer ~ $ sudo koha-rebuild-zebra --full -v cathlib [sudo] password for library: Zebra configuration information ================================ Zebra biblio directory = /var/lib/koha/cathlib/biblios Zebra authorities directory = /var/lib/koha/cathlib/authorities Koha directory = /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin Lockfile = /var/lock/koha/cathlib/rebuild/rebuild..LCK BIBLIONUMBER in : 090$c BIBLIOITEMNUMBER in : 090$d ================================ skipping authorities ==================== exporting biblio ==================== 1..............................................................................101............................................................................201............................................................................301............................................................................401............................................................................501............................................................................601............................................................................701............................................................................801............................................................................901............................................................................1001...........................................................................1101...........................................................................1201............... ............................................................1301...........................................................................1401...........................................................................1501...........................................................................1601...........................................................................1701...........................................................................1801...........................................................................1901...........................................................................2001...........................................................................2101...........................................................................2201...........................................................................2301...........................................................................2401.................................. .........................................2501...........................................................................2601...........................................................................2701...........................................................................2801...........................................................................2901...........................................................................3001...........................................................................3101...........................................................................3201...........................................................................3301..............................error retrieving biblio 3518 at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 679. .error retrieving biblio 3519 at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 679. .error retrieving biblio 3520 at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 679. 3401...........................error retrieving biblio 3615 at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 679. .error retrieving biblio 3616 at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 679. .error retrieving biblio 3617 at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 679. and so on until 7101.................................error retrieving biblio 7418 at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 679. .error retrieving biblio 7419 at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 679. .......error retrieving biblio 7426 at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 679. .error retrieving biblio 7427 at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 679. ..............................error retrieving biblio 7457 at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 679. .....error retrieving biblio 7462 at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl line 679. 7201................... Perhaps the permission issues are at a higher level. On the install log I see that Koha, Mysql, Zebra all have different users and passwords, and the root user name and password is different again. Could that cause the problem? How can I change them?
