Acquisitions process : Add order to basket from a staged file

Hello, We are on Koha 3.16 and are looking into using the acquisitions function of "Add order to basket - from a staged file" We can get the total quantity of items to load (969$h) but not any branch breakdowns. We have 11 branches. Testing Koha 3.16.01 SIP

Hello Colin, I have checked my sip configuration file and it has no "encoding" parameters at accounts section, But i've noticed a strange thing sometimes when testing sip results i get the Arabic characters good like this *24YYYY YY 00120141224 055624AEمحمد أحمد|AA123456|AFGreetings from **Koha.* But after 30 minutes approximately i get the wrong result like this *24YYYY YY 00120141224 055624AE???? ????|AA123456|AFGreetings from * *Koha.* *Have you any suggestions???* Thanks

Change availability display on the OPAC search result

Dear all, We are running 3.18.01. I'm looking to change availability display on the OPAC search result and delighted to found a JQuery to do this ( http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/JQuery_Library#Change_Availability_Disp… ). However, I discovered a problem after apply the JQuery as is. "Libraries with copies available (0)" is showing in the "Status" column (Holdings tab in full item detail) instead just "Available". While, there is no problem with the availability display on the search result. I managed to change to show "*Available*" under "Status" column, but I found the availability display on the search result now display "Total Availability (Click title for details): *Available*". I prefer it just to read "Total Availability (Click title for details)". How do I remove the status from being displayed as part of the availability display on the search result? Your assistance with this is greatly appreciated. Hello all, May I have problem receiving koha mail list emails, I've not receive any mails from 25 Dec 2014. Also i didn't receive Colin's reply for my problem (Testing Koha 3.16.01 SIP), So i'm sorry to be respond to his reply lately. Adding orders from staged files

Hello, We are looking into getting MARC vendor records and then using that file to add the orders to Koha. The vendor can provide branch breakouts and quantities for each branch. So we've been trying to use the add orders from a staged file. What happens is that we can get 1 item record for each in the total quantity but no branch breakouts. In what MARC field does that particular ordering information go into? We have put the branch information in the 952 field but that did nothing. Fine calculation issue-Urgent

Hi All, I am facing issue in fine calculation using Koha. Fine is not getting calculated by the system so it is very difficult for us to find out those transaction for which fines are not getting calculated. Koha version= 3.02 OS =OpenSuSe FineMode=Production crontab is set and running for fines.pl when I run fines.pl file I received below error message: Use of qw(...) as parentheses is deprecated at /opt/kohaclone/C4/Serials.pm line 679. Use of qw(...) as parentheses is deprecated at /opt/kohaclone/C4/Serials.pm line 693. No branchcode argument to new. Should be C4::Calendar->new(branchcode => $branchcode) at /opt/kohaclone/misc/cronjobs/fines.pl line 135. writing to /tmp/koha_2014-12-24.log Kindly let us know what action to perform to avoid this issue and calculate fine automatically. -- *Warm Regards,Vishal Patil*
