String freeze for 3.18.6
by Chris Cormack 15 Apr '15

15 Apr '15

It's the 15th of the month, so that means string freeze time again. I won't be pushing any patches that change templates (barring one of them being critical or a blocker) before the release of 3.18.6 so the translators can work. I am sure Bernardo will let you know when the po files have been updated. Chris

Report help
by Nicole Engard 15 Apr '15

15 Apr '15

Hi all, I'm working on this report and I want there to be a BR between each distinct 650a - but for some reason it's not working. I worked on this in channel for a while and you can see the log here: http://irc.koha-community.org/koha/2015-04-14#i_1663170 Here's the report: Select b.biblionumber, GROUP_CONCAT(DISTINCT ExtractValue(m.marcxml, '//datafield[@tag="650"]/subfield[@code="a"]') SEPARATOR ' BR ') AS 'Subject',i.itype AS 'IType' FROM biblio b LEFT JOIN biblioitems m using (biblionumber) left join items i using (biblioitemnumber) WHERE i.location in ('ARCHIVES','ARCHSIZE','HISTORYMED','HISTMEDOVZ','HISTMEDREF','RAREBKROOM','RAREOVRSIZ') and i.itype != 'JOURNAL' and ExtractValue(m.marcxml, '//datafield[@tag="650"]/subfield[@code="a"]') is not null and ExtractValue(m.marcxml, '//datafield[@tag="650"]/subfield[@code="a"]') != '' group by i.biblionumber ORDER BY b.biblionumber Thanks in advance! autoBarcode Incrementing
by Darrin Enerson 13 Apr '15

13 Apr '15

I feel like this is likely a silly question but was unable to find an answer on the mailing list, in the manual, or on Google. We have a Koha 3.14 install running on Debian straight from the koha-common package that simply refuses to increment barcodes. I have the autoBarcode value set to <branchcode>yymm0001 which causes the barcode field to populate with a value when clicked on as I'd expect it to. The issue is when a user adds the second item in the month to their branch the last 4 digits of the barcode that is generated don't increment and the system throws an error due to a duplicate barcode. This doesn't seem to be intended behavior but I'm hesitant to label it a bug without knowing that it's not simply some setting I'm missing. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry if I missed an obvious answer somewhere.
