Users of Red Hat distributions may be interested in this recipe that automatically installs Koha on Fedora 23 from the tarball: https://github.com/nemobis/beic-koha More information: http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_3.22_on_Fedora_23 The installation is pretty basic as I only need the backend for a single (digital) library on a single virtual server. However it brings up a Koha server that "just works" in 10 minutes and we managed to import data from another instance. Hopefully things like solving 100+ dependencies, configuring SELinux etc. will save time for others as well. I'll probably keep tweaking in the coming weeks as I set up the final production server. koha sip2 character and connection problem.

Hello For our Koha library software, we installed koha SIP2 tool for RFID. In SIPconfig, we configured encode=utf-8 for Turkish characters "ş,ı,ü" etc. It works well at the beggining. However we hear from our customers. In logs, we see result messages of sip2 with errornous characters after configured 5-10 hours. Biblioitems table

We just imported our collection into our new Koha installation. It went really smoothly. Based on the schema, though, I was expecting to find a sortable call number in biblioitems.cn_sort. Since we don't circulate any materials, I didn't create any items. Is there something I needed to set or map to populate this field when I redo the import? Or, should I just add item information? Error framework test

Hi Everyone, Is there any possibility to see where are the errors when we use framework test. In this case over the tag, or subfields, so we can correct them. The errors are: itemnum · The field itemnum MUST be mapped · The corresponding subfield MUST be in with -1 (ignore) tab item fields ALL items fields MUST : · be mapped to the same tag, · and they must all be in the 10 (items) tab biblio and biblionumber The biblio.biblionumber and biblioitems.biblioitemnumber fields be mapped to a MARC subfield I had made some changes on the frameworks, but I really don't remember where ( :( bad) . I was searching for a log, or something . I think that the last one it's ok, for UNIMARC, I rad this somewhere.
