Multi Site Library, circulation user can't search patron outside their location

Hi all, I work at a school that has 2 physical sites but we use one Koha Instance\database to house the collection (we have subnet IPs setup for each site to pick up the default library). We often need a user with basic circulation permissions to circulate books to students, however I am finding that unless the user is a superlibrarian they can only view patrons from the subnet of the library they are in (unless they know the correct UserID of the patron). Site 1: Campus 1 IP: 10.166.x.x Site 2: Campus 2 IP: 10.132.x.x So if the circulation user is on Site 2 they can only view patrons from site 2, and under filters they only have the option of filtering the library but site 2. This is a bit of an issue as we often have staff and students move between campuses. I have searched through the lists as best I can however I can't seem to come up with a solution, any help would be really appreciated. Creating additional indexes and adding to the facet

session time-out error

Hi we recently upgraded our KOHA to version 3.22.02. Found the problem. I had 4 records with an extra $ in subfield b. Sorry for the false alarm. MarcEdit Error Message

I was doing the last step of preparing my records for importing (re-re-re-importing) my records into our new Koha db. I was using Swap Fields to copy the 050ab to the 942$h and got this error message: Index was outside the bounds of the array. Since I have no idea what that means, I thought maybe my file of 118k records was too big, so I split it into 5 files and did a happy dance when the first group of 25k records did the swap with no problem. But, the second file, did not work, so I split that and one of those worked. For the one that didn't I used Swap Fields and copied 260ab to 942h and it worked. So, there must be a problem with one or more of the 050 fields? Can someone please give me some idea of what I should be looking for in my 050 tag? I was so close. Thanks, Lezlie

Fixing Zebra After Upgrade

Hi All, I've been trying to solve this issue for a about a month now and was wondering if you all could provide any advice. This issue occurred after I upgraded to version 3.18 and the previous version was at least two years old, but I didn't note it down. Our server is running Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS. The About page show this error: Zebra server seems not to be available. Is it started? koha fine is not working

Hi all . Koha fine is not calculating .when i run fines.pl manually it is giving date time object error saying a date time object can only be compared to another datetime . Automatic Koha installation on Fedora 23

Users of Red Hat distributions may be interested in this recipe that automatically installs Koha on Fedora 23 from the tarball: https://github.com/nemobis/beic-koha More information: http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_3.22_on_Fedora_23 The installation is pretty basic as I only need the backend for a single (digital) library on a single virtual server. However it brings up a Koha server that "just works" in 10 minutes and we managed to import data from another instance. Hopefully things like solving 100+ dependencies, configuring SELinux etc. will save time for others as well. I'll probably keep tweaking in the coming weeks as I set up the final production server.
