My Zebra keeps dying
by i.pratt＠zigzagee.com 13 Mar '17

13 Mar '17

Hi, Sounds like a sad problem I know but on our Koha test server (16.05) Zebra keeps dying. Since Zebra affects the catalog search, the problem is you type something in the search field and its "No result found" If you perform a koha-restart-zebra instance then the search is back up and running again. This wouldn't be a problem if it occurred rarely but it seems to happen 2 or 3 times a week. How can I stop this from happening ? Koha 16.05 - Changing Material Type Values with JQuery?
by Craig Butosi 13 Mar '17

13 Mar '17

Hi all, Koha 16.05 on Ubuntu 14.04 (package install). Has anyone successfully changed the Material Type field values (set by LDR/06) found in the XSLT templates using JQuery? I'd rather not edit templates directly. I am trying to change the default value "Music" for bib records that are set to LDR/06 - j - Musical Sound Recording to read "Sound Recordings" instead. I.e.,: $(".results_material_type:contains('Music')").text("Sound recording"); At the risk of stating the obvious, I am, of course, placing this script in OPACUSERJS. Would a kind soul have any suggestions? Unsure where I'm going wrong here. Apologies if this is too off-topic. Many thanks, Craig Butosi, MA, MLIS, B Mus (Hons.) Re: [Koha] SQL Help - Daily (on Monthly basis) & Monthly (on Yearly basis) Transactions Counts (Circulation)
by SATISH 12 Mar '17

12 Mar '17

HI I have compiled Date wise daily transactions/circulation report which I had asked in my previous mails. Thanks to Barton Chittenden and Mark Alexander for quick response. Please also advice me, how to add this in the sql wiki library. 1. Date wise daily Transactions (Issue, Renewal, Return) stats for a specific month & year --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SELECT DATE(datetime) AS DATE, SUM( IF(type = 'issue', 1, 0 )) as Issues, SUM( IF(type = 'renew', 1, 0 )) as Renewals, SUM( IF(type = 'return', 1, 0 )) as Returns, COUNT(statistics.type) AS 'Total Transactions' FROM statistics WHERE YEAR(datetime) = <<Enter Year YYYY>> AND MONTH(datetime) = <<Enter Month MM>> GROUP BY DATE(datetime) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Example : YYYY = 2017, MM = 3 (for March) Result looks like: DATEIssuesRenewalsReturnsTotal Transactions 2017-03-01 46 0 13 59 2017-03-02 43 0 9 52 2017-03-03 80 0 2 82 2017-03-04 25 0 5 30 2017-03-06 44 102 30 176 2017-03-07 30 52 46 128 2017-03-08 50 139 55 244 and I am looking help for my second query - i.e, 2. Monthly transactions / circulation report for an entire year : example: for the year 2017 Month | Issues | Renewals | Returns ---------------------------------------------------------- January 55 45 50 February 50 45 35 so on .. until December I did compile to some extent, but request some experts to modify sql for me as I desired. sql is as follows; ---------------------------------------------------------------- SELECT monthname(datetime) AS month, year(datetime) AS year, count(*) AS count FROM statistics WHERE statistics.type IN ('issue') and year(datetime) = <<Year>> GROUP BY month(datetime) -------------------------------------------- Example for the YYYY = 2016, results looks like: monthyearcount July 2016 22 August 2016 41 September 2016 1447 October 2016 538 November 2016 1174 December 2016 977 But I am looking in following format, Month | Issues | Renewals | Returns ---------------------------------------------------------- January 55 45 50 Please share your ideas. I was able to reproduce the error but only if the layout (Diseño in your language) has an empty name. Try to create a new one and save after entering a name for the layout (Nombre del diseño). 2017-03-10 15:27 GMT-01:00 Luis Moises Rojas <lmoisesrojas(a)gmail.com>: > > What exactly is the message being presented and in what screen does it > show?: See attached file > Login screen? : NO > Patron card creator screen?: YES > > On Fri, Mar 10, 2017 at 12:14 PM, Pedro Amorim <pjamorim91(a)gmail.com> > wrote: > >> Hello Luis, >> >> What exactly is the message being presented and in what screen does it >> show? by Layale Bassil 10 Mar '17

Hello, I need to know how can I edit the Zebra search in order to only search by subfields a and b when searching by title 245? The search is currently searching other subfields like c and returning non-relevant results. What files should I edit in this case? Thank you in advance, Regards.
