problem with installation of dbd::mysql ...

Dear list and Joshua, i tried to do the installation as per new manual (simply great). yet i am getting the same problem. i tried installing mysql using yum/rpm -i/as a binary. But in none of the cases i am able to install the driver DBD::mysql. I tried various other ways in last one week.... Can you please help me out. I am setting this out for our NGO based in India. i have attached the output when i run make test during the manual installaion of DBD::mysql. Error is essentialy same when i tried with sql-bench/runallstests and CPAN. LH Online & Librarians Helper

a few weeks ago I asked about Librarians Helper. I am working on getting our church library onto Koha. This is what I have learned.... LH Online is the "public catalog" part of the suite, and Librarians Helper is the "admin" part. I have the manuals for both and it has a description of the database and how the data fields are laid out. So, my question now is, how to import the data into Koha? problem with instalaion of DBD::mysql for koha

Dear list, i have a problem installing DBD::mysql module as needed by koha. My built is FC3 on a P4 machine. i installed mysql database via Mysql-serever-5.1.10-0.i386.rpm also via a binary version of mysql-standard-4.1.10-pc-linux-gnu-i686. both the mysql servers are fine. And i could install DBI modules thru CPAN. But i could not install DBD::mysql thru cpan. I tried manually too. i have attached the output produced by make and make test. Can some one help me out. I guess there si some problem with cflags and lib ... To solve the problem, the biblio can no more be modified after the order has been placed. Less feature, but more reliable ! (not simple solution to solve this problem. Would imply to rewrite the MARC biblio from the non marc datas, and no API is provided for this yet) 2 CRITICAL bugfix in Biblio.pm, removing &branches declaration (was due to an untested cvs rollback, opac-search.pl was crashing) 3 CRITICAL bugfix in Biblio.pm when MARC=OFF. subjects were stored and immediatly deleted. error on updating Koha database

on the verge of updating koha database based on the PDF file Updating_Koha.pdf, i execute the following line: # perl -I your_koha_cvsrepo updatedatabase it run smoothly except for this errors: DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Invalid default value for 'aqbudgetid' at updatedatabase line 1025.
