Customizing Acquisitions module of Koha

I have been interacting with the Koha database at my library. It is a very useful and simply. However, I work in the Acquisitions Depart of the library. We receive donations on a regular basis. I would like to list each donation within the Acquisitions module of the programme as follows: Vendor, Title, year of publication, Price, Total Price. Thanks! It is the specify due date choose that we'd like to change. I couldn't figure out how though. Is it difficult to upgrade? What is the best way to back up Koha to ensure that 3.0 will take the Marc files? We like the features of 3.0 and are thinking of moving up. Thanks! That is controlled by the templates, so theoretically you can fix that by modifying the template. Backing up Koha

I think I am backing up Koha properly through what I've read on this mailing list and what I've been shown by a tech. person, but I just wanted to make sure. Is this the right way to do it? I go to export in MySQL and save all the tables as a file. Under Structure I check "Add Drop Table" and "Enclose table and field names with backquotes". Under Data, "use hexadecimal for binary fields" is already checked. Then I save it all as a file. Is this right? Should I: 1. Under Structure I also have the option to check "Add if not exists" and "Add Auto_Increment Value". Should I check either of those as well? 2. There's a drop down box of selections for MySQL compatibility. Which one should I use? The options are NONE, ANSI, DB2, MAXDB, MSSQL, MYSQL323, MYSQL40, ORACLE, POSTGRESQL, or TRADITIONAL. 3. Under Data, I have options as well in check boxes, so I assume I could check more than one. Which ones are needed? The choices are "Complete inserts", "Extended inserts", "Use delayed inserts", "Use ignore inserts", and "Use hexadecimal for binary fields". Then I have a drop down menu where I have to choose the export type: INSERT, UPDATE, or REPLACE. Which one of those? Thank you very much! Amber

0 biblios in authority search results

Good evening! Although I have added some authorities and used them in several bibliographic records, when I make a search in authorities or while in a bibliographic record it says that the authority has been used in 0 biblio(s). Have I done something wrong or do I need to update something? You can print the branch and year directly on the barcode stickers and spine labels you generate. Do you know what version of Internet Explorer you're using? If you don't, you can usually find it by clicking the 'Help' menu and chosing 'About.' Are you Adding to your Order based on an existing record, from a suggestion, or by creating a new record? (don't know if that really matters) So you: 1) Enter a quantity (ex: 10) 2) Click one of the funds listed ...and then the error icon appears? Acquisitions error

All: I have add my funds and budgets the way my director wants. I now have 21 funds with money attached to each fund. I have tried to enter orders but every time I select a fund I get an error at the bottom of the page. The system will then not automatically fill in the costs on the order.
