Someone who can point me to guidance for exporting Koha 2.2.9 stuff (all of it, biblio items, users, ...) and how to import it on another machine with 3.0? Is this possible? Display serials holdings

We would like to add bib records and holdings for our serials into Koha 3.0. What is the best way to display back holdings of serial titles? Ideally we would like to be able to run a report that gives us a serials holding list. I understand setting up subscriptions that create an item for every issue (though find it confusing to view) but that doesn't take care of old and discontinued titles. ERROR: Can't save this record because the following field aren't filled

On a fresh Koha 3 install on Ubuntu 8.04 I get the following kind of errors and I suppose that there are MARC records that by default are mandatory in Koha 3 but that are not returned from my Z39.50 provider (z3950.libris.kb.se). However, I'm not the man to figure out how to tell Koha 3 not to have this fields set as non mandatory. We are dealing with this in several ways: 1. Most interlibrary loan is being provided among the participants in our Koha system through a single shared Koha data base. We have found this to be much more efficient than traditional ILL, and is one of the reasons we have pursued a shared rather than standalone ILS system. 2. We have configured our catalog so that whenever an item is not found in our Koha system the following link pops up: *Not finding what you're looking for? *Look for this item in the Kansas Library Catalog <http://ksuc-agent.auto-graphics.com/agent/login.asp?cid=ksuc&lid=ksuc&mode=g> The link takes the user to the standalone statewide ILL system. 3. We would like to eventually have direct links between our Koha system and other library catalogs but that is in the future. We did have discussions with RELAIS but their solution did not seem to meet our needs at this time. Dear Colleagues: On a RHEL5 (5.2) server, running Mysql 5, I am getting essentially the same errors as was seen in Messieur Laurent's post. Alas, the suggested solution, to run libmysqlclient15-dev, does not seem applicable to my distro. Suggestions would be MOST welcome! Best, Petrus

Dear all, Koha is not well known in Norway yet, but awareness of it is slowly starting to grow... One of the features I think Norwegian librarians will be looking for is integrated support for inter-library loan. I have searched the mail-list archives and the wiki for information about whether this is on the horizon for Koha, but have not found anything substantial. This makes me wonder: is ILL not seen as something that should be part of the ILS in other parts of the world? Catalogue Search in intranet and opac

Hi all, I have entered biblios manually as well as imported some records as well.But when i try to find them using search in OPAC as well as Intranet i get following message "No results match your search for "au,wrdl: Carl" in Library catalogue'.Is there any system setting to be done ..Please help..
