Errors when installing CPAN modules on Ubuntu

Hi all, I'm trying to install Koha 3.0 on an Ubuntu Gutsy computer using the instruction found at http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=ubuntu_gutsy Unfortunately I'm getting some errors when installing some of the CPAN modueles (not the ZMARC one). I've attached two text files with the errors. These are the two commands I execute separately: sudo perl -MCPAN -e 'install Class::Factory::Util' sudo perl -MCPAN -e 'install Net::LDAP' Can someone please tell me what I need to do to continue? Delhi Public Library Catalogue Goes Live with Koha 3.0

Hi all Delhi Public Library catalogue is going live on 2nd October with Koha 3.0, the consortia-quality open-source library management software. Users from across the world and nearly 45000 DPL members can now access the most current catalogue of *Delhi Public Library system *on its website at * http://www.dpl.gov.in* or *http://59.176.17.111* DPL is very proud to be the first library in India to implement the latest version of Koha 3.0. DPL at present has 1500000 (15 lakh) books in its holdings spread across its network of zonal and branch libraries spread all over Delhi. Retro-conversion of such a massive collection is a huge and time consuming task. Hence DPL has planned to make implement koha in phases. To begin with the online catalogue of *current acquisitions* *& books received under the Delivery of Books Act from 2007 *and about 70,000 D.B.Act book's record available in cds/isis and conversion from cds/isis to MARC21 is already under way. Retro-conversion of old catalogue records is going to start soon and in the near future the entire catalogue will be made available online. This is an important facet of DPL's modernization programme which was kick-started early this year. Other major initiatives are recently introduced *Internet access service*, a totally *revamped and refurbished childrens'* section. These new services are now available in the three libraries situated at Sarojini Nagar, S P Mukherjee Marg in Old Delhi and Patel Nagar. Soon DPL is going to use KOHA for computerizing circulation of DVDs in its three zonal libraries (Central Library, Sarojini Nagar and Patel Nagar). Response from public to these new services has been overwhelming and these will be introduced in other libraries as well in a phased manner. Delhi Public Library is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Culture and governed by Delhi Library Board, started as a UNESCO project in the year 1951 by the Govt. of India. Delhi Public Library system includes a network of Zonal Libraries, Branches & Sub-branches Libraries, R.C.Libraries, Community Libraries, Deposit Stations, Mobile Library, Braille library, etc. spread all over Delhi. DPL provides free services to Delhi citizens. Its large book stock includes books in Hindi, English, Urdu, Punjabi & other Indian Languages, and almost all subjects are represented in its collection. We have a similar problem with our lists (3.0). If I am working from a screen with a list of titles on it, all my lists public and private are in the dropdown box at the head of the list. However, if I get an individual record up and choose Save to your lists from the right side, only my private lists appear in the dropdown box that comes up in the popup screen and not the public lists that I created. It's only from the individual record screen that it doesn't work, but it would really help to have this function. ISBN discrepancy for Amazon content

I understand in order to get the Amazon content, we must use only 10-digit ISBNs in a bib record. Was it ever determined whether this is an Amazon or a Koha problem? More and more books have only 13-digit numbers, what are the implications of having only the 10-digit numbers in for future use of perhaps another source of enhanced content? When the 10-digit ISBN won't work, or when there is only a 13-digit number, I check the item on the Amazon website and often find an ISBN number listed that is nowhere on the book, though the cover, book, edition. etc. is clearly the correct one. I'm uncomfortable with using an ISBN in the record that doesn't correspond with anything in the book, but I want the picture! Advice? MIGRATING A CDS/ISIS BASED SYSTEM TO KOHA

Good day, Please help us migrate our records from CDS/ISIS (version 1.5) into Koha (2.2.9). A sample of our records is found in the attached FCTVEMIG.XML whilst a definition of our tags is in Tag Meanings.txt. We converted our tags to suit those in the cmftf script for migrating book data. We then managed to convert our xml file to text using the attached cdiffctve.py (amended ciddtf.py). But when we tried running the attached cdismafctve.pl (amended cfmtft.pl), our output file had nothing in it. We attempted to add the following tags to your script (cmftf) since they were not there: 25 ($itemtype_25_942_c) 60 ($isbn_60_020_a) 70 ($subject_70_650_a) 80 ($recordedby_80_946_a) Please kindly assist us. limit available CCL error?

When I do a search and click on "limit to currently available items" I get no results. I've tried numerous things without any effect. In my koha-opac-error_log I can see the following error: WARNING: query problem with ZOOM error 10014 "CCL parsing error" (addinfo: "Search word expected") from diag-set 'ZOOM' at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Search.pm line 386. And a few lines above that I see this line: QUERY:(rk=(Title-cover,ext,r1="civil war in spain" or ti,ext,r2="civil war in spain" or ti,phr,r3="civil war in spain" or wrdl,fuzzy,r8="civil war in spain" or wrdl,right-Truncation,r9="civil? war? in spain? " or wrdl,r9="civil war in spain")) and (( ( allrecords,AlwaysMatches='' not onloan,AlwaysMatches='') and (lost,st-numeric=0) )) at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Search.pm line 1161, <DATA> line 275.
