Report for patrons with most checkouts

Koha has a built-in report listing the patrons with the most checkouts for a given time period. However, it only provides a name & the issue count. We would like a report that also provides contact info for the patron -- street & email addresses, phone number, etc. Can someone provide us with a headstart on how to write this SQL statement? I've looked at the table structure for transaction data but can't figure it out. Nothing relevant on the wiki either as far as I can tell. (I think it would be helpful if SQL statements were provided for all of the canned reports, so staff could review these, learn from them, use them as the basis for new reports, etc.) Thank you, Cab Vinton, Director Sanbornton Public Library Sanbornton, NH

Hi all, I have been struggling to come up with an sql query that can generate patrons barcode from koha (i am using 3.0. ) using kbarcode. I have come up with the following sql query but it seems it is not working. Can somebody correct my sql statement: SELECTborrowers.surname, borrowers.firstname, borrowers.cardnumber as barcode FROM borrowers WHERE borrowers.cardnumber >=02300 and borrowers.cardnumber <=02310; (NB: 02300 and 02310 represent the range of patrons' barcodes to be generated) Your input is highly appreciated.

Incorrect search links in biblio displays

Hello all, I am working on a Koha install for a school, and it appears to be generating search urls that it can't parse for some search links on biblio display pages, both in OPAC and staff client. Some search links work, such as author and series links in the staff client. They use "idx=<parameter>&q=<search string>" syntax. However, others, such as the subject and additional author links in the staff client, and all I have come across so far in OPAC, use "q=<parameter>:<search string>" syntax and do not work. The search script doesn't seem to parse the string to extract the parameter, and instead does a keyword search for the whole thing. This obviously gives in no results for single word search strings, and incorrect results for multi-word. Is this likely to be a configuration issue, or should it be reported as a bug? The Koha installation is 3.00.05, upgraded from 3.00.01, through 3.00.04, running on Debian. 3.0.4 - opac-detail.pl crashes when more than 1 item for a biblio number

We upgraded recently to 3.0.4 and noticed that OPAC was broken (blank page) for some bibliographic records. 5-digit order numbers

Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to make the order numbers start over with each basket, so they'd go "1,2,3..." Currently our orders are numbered continuously across the baskets, and all the order numbers are 5 digits long. Even if you don't know how to change this, could you tell us if your order numbering works differently from ours? That way I'll know it's at least possible. Thanks! We looked casually at Bibliotheca a couple of years ago. I was nominally more interested in it than some others because it didn't require YAWS (Yet Another Windows Server). 3.0.4 Upgrade problem(s)

I upgraded from 3.0.0 to 3.0.4 (running Zebra 2.0.43 before and after) following these<http://lists.katipo.co.nz/public/koha/2009-July/019328.html>instructions. The initial upgrade did not work until I installed YAML, IPC::Cmd, and Digest::SHA from CPAN. The system now works for the most part, except some records generate a 404 error. This does not happen in the working 3.0.0 system. I checked the koha-error_log, and found the following: File does not exist: /usr/share/koha/intranet/htdocs/favicon.ico I also checked the koha-opac-error_log and found the following: ======= Memory map: ========, referer: http://koha-test.lrs.edu/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?q=angels 08048000-0814d000 r-xp 00000000 08:01 337445 /usr/bin/perl, referer: http://koha-test.lrs.edu/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?q=angels There are a couple dozen of those that were generated at the same time (5:33:36). I found these errors following the memory map errors: Premature end of script headers: opac-detail.pl, referer: http://koha-test.lrs.edu/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?q=angels HTML::Template::Pro:in TMPL_LOOP at pos 232:, referer: http://koha-test.lrs.edu/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?q=angels PARAM:LOOP:next_loop:hash pointer was expected but not found, referer: http://koha-test.lrs.edu/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?q=angels I should note this problem only seems to occur on some records that have Amazon info, and that it doesn't seem to happen at all when Amazon features are turned off and replaced with Google jackets (although the records that actually do work that contact Amazon content don't display that content :( ). This <http://old.nabble.com/Problem-with-amazon-data-td25358032.html>individual seemed to have a similar problem, but there was no follow-up that I could find.
