Re: [Koha] problem with PDF::API2::Simple installation
by Vimal Kumar 30 Mar '10

Dear Savitra and Ian, Thank you for the quick response. At last I successfully installed PDF::API2::Simple. First clean the old installation of PDF::API2::Simple using the steps provided by Savitra. After that I installed libmodule-install-perl deb file as per the suggestion of Ian. Then I installed PDF::API2::Simple from source. It works fine now. Thanks you again for the help. -- Vimal Kumar V. Asst. Mail Sending Problems
by nitesh rijal 30 Mar '10

30 Mar '10

Hello all. I am using KOHA 3.0.3 in Debian Lenny 5. I have setup certain circulation rules that needs to send mail to the overdue patrons. I have also made all the necessary changes in the crontab as root user. But, I see that there is overdue, but still it doesnot send any mails. Who is the recipient of the email? The email address in the Library Name and Branch settings or the KohaAdminEmail in the system preferences. I have set the both fields to the same value, but still it is not sending mails. What else do I need to do. Please help. Question
by Paula Corman 29 Mar '10

29 Mar '10

Hello I am a new user of KOHA who is trying to set up a research library for a new museum opening in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. My problems are multiple: 1. I am untrained in MARC since MARC was not around when I graduated from library school although I have been valiantly reading MARC how-tos. 2. I do not have KOHA presently available to me. 3. I am encountering many questions about both MARC and KOHA as I work and so I am hoping that you kind people can give me answers. One of my questions is this: I have encountered a few Library of Congress records that contain typos. How would I correct those records for my own library? PF Corman
