Koha Harley - no items available
by Paul Davis 28 Jul '10

28 Jul '10

Hello; I installed Koha Harley on a new machine (latest Debian) everything nice. Backed up my old mysql from Koha 3.0, and restored on new machine. Everything looks great in the intranet, nothing in the OPAC when searching. On intranet side, I do a search and then limit to available items and nothing shows there, most likely why OPAC doesn't show. Cannot edit items either, probably because they aren't available. What am I missing? The onloan, damaged, etc... fields all have 0 in them. I may try re-indexing my zebra. I have rebuilt zebra with rebuild_zebra.pl a few times and no joy. I am: Paul Davis Network Administrator StarTouch Broadband Services and helper-outer with my local private school library (was Technology Director there for 20 years) Thank you in advance - I am hoping it is a simple fix. :-)

Hello Everyone, I have set several items to lost or missing and they still show up in the opac. They do show up as unavailable but I checked off don't show lost items in the opac administration so that they won't show up at all, but they do even after re-indexing. Any ideas? -Joseph Faneuf Tech Support Specialist Narragansett Regional School District Baldwinville, MA

Web Installer Authentication
by Sabine Grabner 27 Jul '10

Hello, I have installed and started koha-3.00.06 on ubuntu-10.04. However, when authenticating at http://127.0.1.1:8080/ the login screen is reissued without any error messages. Though, looking at the apache error.log, it looks like something has not been configured quite right yet. Was I missing something during the installation procedure? Migrating from Koha 2.2.9 on server 1 to Koha 3 on server 2

Hi, We have been running Koha 2.2.9 on Debian for around two years now on a server. But now we have upgraded server machines, and have installed Koha 3 (on Debian Lenny) on one of the new server machines. Can someone provide guidance on how we migrate the Koha 2.2.9 database from the old server to Koha 3 on the new server? Thanks in advance.
