Images in Patron Cards

Hi - I've been having trouble getting an uploaded logo image to print on the patron cards. I can print cards with text and barcodes just fine. However, adding our Institute's logo renders a PDF that cannot be opened by Acrobat Reader. Message states that the "File is damaged and cannot be repaired." I've made sure that ImageMagick and PerlMagick are both installed and configured with support for GIF, JPG, & PNG files. I've tried with all three types, keeping the images well under 500k and at the recommended 300ppi setting. The actual size of the image is also a 1:1 correspondence to what I've set in the layout. New addition to AUR Koha catalog

All, I just did something that is interesting. I've done it on my blog and it is easy enough to implement now. I have added the Google Translate widget into the catalog, both on my main page, and in the individual records. On the main page, http://www.galileo.aur.it/cgi-bin/koha/opac-main.pl, it takes a second for the widget to load from Google, but when you do, just select the language, and watch. It's pretty amazing! I also did it from each record: e.g. http://www.galileo.aur.it/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?bib=6084 The instructions are in Google. branchcodes and case sensitivity

Hi All, We're running into a problem on 3.00.05 with the case of our branchcodes. We have configured our branches with codes like 'LO' or 'ES'. We imported all of our items against those codes, and everything looked good. School just stated, and we just began circulating, and have discovered that when items are checked in, items.holdingbranch is being populated with lowercase variants of those branchcodes ('lo' or 'es'). This causes the interface in many places to claim there's no current branch, even preventing check-out of that item. The obvious fix would be to simply set branchcode to LOWER(branchcode) in the back end, but the foreign key constraint prevents me from doing so through mysql. I'm fixing this temporarily by running UPDATEs against items setting holdingbranch=UPPER(holdingbranch), but this is a kludge. MARC21slim2OPACDetail.xsl and brancode variable

Is there any way to access the branchcode variable while in the MARC21slim2OPACDetail.xsl file? intranet library set incorrectly

Hi there I am using Koha 3.0.06, Debian Lenny. My organisation has two libraries, University Library and Children's Library. Can anyone suggest why, when I log into the intranet as a staff member, the library set in the top right corner of the screen is always the Children's Library? The staff members all have their home library set to University Library. Thanks, Catherine
