Getting eBooks to show in Koha
by Darla Grediagin 05 Apr '11

05 Apr '11

Good morning, I uploaded ebooks recently. I can see the link in the MARC record, but not through the regular catalog. It is located in 856u. In my experience, I won't get users to click on the MARC record link to get access to the materials. If anyone has a clue to get this to show in the regular catalog, I would be very thankful. I am using Koha 3.0 on a Linux distro. Koha - Problem sorting items by call number and cn_sort
by Linda Culberson 05 Apr '11

05 Apr '11

The items.cn_sort field seems to be generated automatically using the item.itemcallnumber field normalized(maybe?) by the cn_sort field. We are having trouble getting serials to sort properly, as it seems to be using an ascii sort order. Is there a way to get around this? Blocked Patrons

Hi all. I have a problem with my circulation configuration. On issuing a library item, I am getting the following message "Patron has overdue items and blocked for 4 days". Which system preference directive affects this? Regards, Admire Mutsikiwa

Re: [Koha] Problem circulation records

Why does Koha allow one to delete an item record that is in use!? It should be simple enough to check it's status before permitting the record to be deleted. It does that with patron records, why not item records? I don't know of a way in Koha to get these off the record. The easiest way is to do it in the database.
