To count users in the library rooms
by Zeno Tajoli 04 Oct '11

04 Oct '11

Hi to all, in our library we want to count persons there are in the rooms. I think to read the library card when a user goes in and when he goes out. The library car has a unique barcode. I'm plannig to use Koha as DB of users. Do you know any open source solution about this request ? Do anyone develop something on Koha about it ? Bye Zeno Tajoli -- Dott. need contact with other Librarians
by Silvia Soto-bussard 04 Oct '11

Hello! :-) We have recently upgraded our Koha database from version 2.0! to 3.2.5 and migrated those records from the very old computer to a brand new one. We have a special library with about 7000 books, issued to members only, we are a voluntary organization. I would like to know of other special libraries in Wellington, or small libraries with sole charge Librarian to exchange ideas and feel integrated with the Koha community. Warm regards, Silvia Soto-Bussard Theosophical Society Wellington Branch (19 Marion St.)

SRU authentication error
by Auninda Rumy Saleque 30 Sep '11

Hello everyone, I am new to this ground, so even if its a noob question please bear with me. I was trying to test the sru feature of koha but when i try to grab a result through the url, the xml file that's being generated, returns authentication error. I passed something like this: http://aunideb:9999/biblios?version=1.1&operation=searchRetrieve&query=java… and the return result is this: <zs:searchRetrieveResponse><zs:version>1.1</zs:version><zs:diagnostics><diag:diagnostic><diag:uri>info:srw/diagnostic/1/3</diag:uri><diag:message>Authentication error</diag:message></diag:diagnostic></zs:diagnostics></zs:searchRetrieveResponse> Will greatly appreciate if someone can point out what i am missing. Thankx Auninda

Salvete! I'm conducting a survey on Gender and Open Source. There hasn't been much research in this area, and Library and Information science data are scant in especial. I appreciate your time in taking it. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have further questions. http://tinyurl.com/42qfdud Thanks, Brooke
