Fine charging rules with a different start point
by Robin Sheat 30 May '12

30 May '12

I have someone asking if it's possible to do something like: week1 -> $1 week2 -> $3 week3 -> $5 i.e. the first fine is $1, and the increment is $2 every 7 days. Is this possible? I can't see an obvious way to do it in the circ rules. -- Robin Sheat Catalyst IT Ltd. ✆ +64 4 803 2204 GPG: 5957 6D23 8B16 EFAB FEF8 7175 14D3 6485 A99C EB6D

Adding few Koha libraries in our regions to Koha Users Worldwide wiki page
by Massoud Alshareef 30 May '12

30 May '12

Hello, Koha Users Worldwide ( http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_Users_Worldwide) pages include hundreds of libraries running on Koha from all over the world. I assume all of these libraries have been added by the libraries themselves. I am a registered user in Koha wiki and I can log in fine. However, I we ave been trying to add few Koha libraries in our regions to the wki page in a new region or a sub-section of an existing region but there is no Add/Submit button to find. Can we get someone to help here please ? Massoud M. AlShareef, KnowledgeWare Technologies (P.O. Box 230-312) Riyadh 11321, Saudi Arabia Cel: +966 505 307 267 massoud(a)kwareict.com

Classroom Checkouts
by Lori Bowen Ayre 29 May '12

29 May '12

Anyone ever heard of "Classroom Checkouts?" Evidently it is a feature of Follett in which a patron record get labelled as a "teacher" and this allows that teacher to be somehow related to his or her students. The idea is that when the students are going to the library, the library staff can easily generate a list of barcodes associated with that teacher (in lieu of library cards I guess....). Anyone heard of such a thing or have a way to accomplish something similar in Koha? Hello, Since i've upgraded for koha 3.8, i can't access on my opac. I think my virtualhost is good (i join it in attached file) but maybe there's something wrong i've not seen. I've the same url with two differents ports. For the intranet, it's ok but for the opac, it's the problem. thank you. samuel
