Next general IRC meeting: 18 July 2012 at 10:00 UTC+0
by Owen Leonard 13 Jun '12

13 Jun '12

At the June 2012 general IRC meeting (just concluded), it was decided that the next meeting would be 18 July 2012 at 10:00 UTC+0 The last few general IRC meetings have been sparsely attended. I asked that today's meeting be adjourned and rescheduled because of the small number of attendees. Instead we adjourned without rescheduling. I think it would be worthwhile to get feedback about the above date and time and reschedule if necessary. Will that date work? Does anyone want to propose an earlier date for a meeting to cover the agenda items not covered in today's meeting? -- Owen -- Web Developer Athens County Public Libraries http://www.myacpl.org

I only looked at two pages: http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Enhancements_to_the_display_of_extended… http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Claimed_Returned_RFC But these pages are blank - if you edit them you see that they do have content on them though. Nicole

Please do these sequentially: 1. Open 1st terminal to run: su -c 'tail -f /var/log/apache2/error_log' 2. Open 2nd terminal to run (again): su -c 'service apache2 start' Please put the log in your 1st terminal to: http://paste.koha-community.org/ , and tell us the generated URL here. We'll see what is happening there. Good luck. -- Andi Sugandi.

Koha 3.8 installation problem
by Joeri Michiels 12 Jun '12

12 Jun '12

Hello, We're currently evaluating the Koha 3.8 software on an OpenSuse 12.1 64bit. We've been trying to install Koha according to the instructions as described in http://git.koha-community.org/gitweb/? p=koha.git;a=blob;f=INSTALL.opensuse;hb=HEAD but after running 'make install' the Apache web server can no longer be started. There's not a lot of info in the Apache error log, just the following message "caught SIGTERM, shutting down". We've browsed to a number of articles on the internet but they don't provide the solution. Hopefully I can get the answer on this forum. Thanks for the help Regards, Joeri Michiels Van dijk Information Consultants
