Dear colleagues, The Library of the Center for Analysis and Forescasting of the Spanish Civil Guard goes live on Koha-Kobli as a result of a process automation and standardization of the library collection which had little bibliographic treatment before, therefore adapting it to current standards. The Center for Analysis and Forecasting of the Civil Guard, created in 1998, is the body responsible for studying, collecting, disseminating and collaborating on matters that relate to the protection and safety. This project is included in the action of the General Coordination Committee for the General State Authority Libraries (CGCBAGE) of implementing, in a coordinated way, the library management system Koha-Kobli (http://kobli.bage.es) in certain libraries in its network. This action is implemented by the Subdirectorate General for Libraries Coordination of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, in its role as CGCBAGE secretariat. how to undo global due date?

Greetings, I need some help with a problem I've encountered in the circulation rules. About six months ago I set a global due date for May 17, the end of the semester. Since then, we've updated Koha a couple times, and I can no longer find the page where I set the global due date. (From my reading, it appears that this feature has been replaced with circ rules?) The system is still maintaining the May 17 due date. I'm not sure how to reset this. In the meantime, every time I check out a book, I have to confirm the action and manually create due dates. All books checked out now are immediately overdue I've made sure that there are no hard due dates set in the circulation rules, but this hasn't made any difference. String freeze for 3.8.2

We are almost one week out from the release of 3.8.2, which means that on the 15th we go into string freeze before the release. There shouldn't be a huge amount of changes from 3.8.1, but we will soon find out once the translation manager has updated the .po files. Happy translating Chris

problems with browsing

Dear friends, We have upgraded to koha 3.8 and are currently testing it. Till now everything has worked fine with one exception. When we import a MARC record in Armenian language and search for it, the record is normally retrieved. But when we try to browse by author/subject/etc by clicking on the author/subject name-link, some strange things happen. Obviously, koha dos not recognize the fonts. Koha uses strange symbols to search/browse the author name. In the koha 3.6 we have not encountered such a problem. Any ideas? Regards, Haik.

Import into the Catalog

Hello, I am very new to koha, I can access both OPAC and Intranet in my browser. But when iam trying to add a member,it showing that the entered card number is not correct. and Is their any date format specifications for it. if yes let me know which format should i need to follow. At the June 2012 general IRC meeting (just concluded), it was decided that the next meeting would be 18 July 2012 at 10:00 UTC+0 The last few general IRC meetings have been sparsely attended. I asked that today's meeting be adjourned and rescheduled because of the small number of attendees. Instead we adjourned without rescheduling. I think it would be worthwhile to get feedback about the above date and time and reschedule if necessary. Will that date work?
