How to Make report in CSV/XLS format

Hi, Is there some way that i could make a report in csv (excel) file. currently i am trying to make a report for all the students having fines in their accounts and then output it in CSV format, but the options available are just the 'coma seperated text' and 'tab seperated text'. i want a csv or xls file output. any idea? regards umer habib

Kobli is a customized version of Koha ILS developed by the Working Group of BAGEs (Spanish General State Authority Libraries). Pazpar installation

Hello, I'm trying to find the installation steps to setup Pazpar2 on an OpenSuse 11.3 running Koha 3.8.1, so that I can use Opac searching on remote databases. I've already looked on www.indexdata.com but the installation guide doesn't tell me how to make Pazpar work with Koha. Thanks for pointing me to a detailled documentation. How to schedule account making process in KOHA

Hi, I am working on PeopleSoft - KOHA integration. I am trying to find solution fo a problem please help me if anybody has an idea. Students and staff information is entered in Peoplesoft and it is scheduled to generate a csv file weekly containig the information of newly added members, now i want koha to automatically make the accounts of these newly added members using that csv file. suppose i have managed to make that csv file according to the koha csv file pattern, what would be the next step to make these accounts if i donot want to use the manual procedure of uploading the csv file in KOHA. is there some cronjob for this? if no then what should i do? thanks umer habib

Call sql query

I have a library database in which half of the records are pre Koha 3.x. When the conversion was done from 2.x to 3.x, none of the call numbers ended up in the Items data field. What I am looking for is an sql query to extract the call numbers from the biblio call number field and insert same in the corresponding item(s) record for that specific biblio item. I'm trying to avoid having to manually edit all of the items to insert the call numbers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. SKA man

Hi Amit, forwarding your mail back to the mailing list so other people can read and help if they have an idea. I think if your match treshold is 1000, your score should not be higher than that. I hope I understand you correctly: You have 10 identical records in one import file. You want the first record to be added to the catalog, the following 9 records should only attach its item to the first record. Is that right? I think it will not work this way, because when your import adds a new record, it's not indexed for matching immediately. So the other records can't match. I think what you could do is doing separate imports. A first import with one record for each title, but without item data. After that import got indexed you can do a second import with your items. The matching should work in this case. The other option is to change your import file to have only one record for each title with multiple items (repeated 952 fields).
