Koha 3.6.x EOL

Good morning. Earlier today I released Koha 3.6.10, my final release as Release Maintainer for the Koha 3.6.x branch. So far no one has accepted the position of RMaint for 3.6.x during the 3.12 release cycle, despite my various pleas, entreaties, and threats. It is my hope that a new release maintainer will step forward for 3.6.x, since I believe that this branch has not yet exhausted its usefulness, but until this happens the 3.6.x branch should be considered orphaned, and libraries should begin to consider upgrading to 3.8.x or the forthcoming 3.10. One further note about 3.6.10: this upgrade included fixes for several cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in Koha that have been present at least since 3.4. ALL USERS OF KOHA SHOULD UPGRADE TO THE LATEST RELEASE ON THE BRANCH THEY ARE FOLLOWING TO RECEIVE PROTECTION FROM THESE THREATS. Importing records from Koha 3.01 into 4.02

Dear Koha Friends, We have tried to bring the records in by two methods, first to point at the old database when installing 4.02; secondly, to do a fresh installation and then using tools > marc staging to import the files already exported from the old system. The first installation seems to work, but searching finds no records. Using the second method, we can see a list of records, but only one of them (the first one) has a Bib number and after clicking on "Import" the progress bar never advances. Sorry for such a clueless question. Does anyone have some clues for us? We are using Marc 21, by the way. Hi, I am new to Koha and need some help. have installed koha 3.10 on ubuntu server 12. 04 using packages. Indexing is now working. Kindly advice me on how i should set cronjobs. should i set it under crontab -e or /etc/cront.d/koha-common? Secondly can somebody help with tested cronjobs which i can use. Thanks in advance. Tom

What OS are you using? Debian or centos...? I think your problem is because of wrong configuration apache before. You should remove apache and all its configurations then install a fresh apache2. If u are using debian, ubuntu, you can check for koha packages install on ubuntu, it's an easies way, i think. Here is some command if u can't reinstall your Os. $ Sudo apt-get remove - -purge apache2 apache2.2-common This will remove all configurations file, maybe remove koha , and mail server. Be warning about this. Next $ sudo apt-get autoremove This clear all another dependence program and their config files. Next try reinstall apache again. Hope this help! And should not install as root, just add user and give him full admin privileges. But even with root, it should work! Best regards! Nguyen Quoc Uy

searching problem with marc tags in koha 3.4

I have install koha 3.4 in ubuntu there is problem in searching when advance marc tag are enabled. zebra indexing is enabled. koha searches basic marc tags like ( 245, 100, 650, 700 etc) there is a problem with searching for advance marc tags like (546, 773) I have added some information in these tags below 773 ## - HOST ITEM ENTRY g Relationship information 546 ## - LANGUAGE NOTE a Language note 546(a) is linked with authorize values (english , urdu , chinease , persian is added in this tag) now i have to search the information from the above tags which in not searched. information written in both these tags 773(g) and 546(a) are not been searched in koha using catalog searching even in advance search it cannot search. please suggest me,how it can be searched for these tags? any help will be appreciated.
