cloning 856 $u

Dear friends, We want to attach several URLs to the MARC record. Since the 856 $u field is repeatable, we have decided to clone the subfield several times. Yet, when we search for the record in the OPAC, only the first link is displayed in the results' page, meanwhile the other ones are not visible at all. We have a similar problem with the 856 $y field as well. All subfields are concatenated in one field and are displayed as a one text. We want to have all links each one with its appropriate text value, and of course, displayed separately. Is it possible? Thank you in advance, Haik.

Happy New Year - can you help make it even happier, please?

Happy New Year! Could I cheekily suggest two New Year's Resolutions that would make the new year even happier for people who try to help the koha community? 1. don't email koha and koha-devel both at the same time - if you do that, the people who help the most like Chris and so on will get two or more copies. It would be nicer not to mailbomb them... So if it's a usage or installation or similar request, please email koha@ lists.katipo.co.nz, while for enhancement or programming requests, email koha-devel@ lists.koha-community.org - if in doubt, probably email koha@ first. If you need to resend, please mention where you sent it before, so helpers don't repeat themselves. 2. if you edit the wiki or the source code, put in a log comment to describe what you changed. This helps other authors decide if they should review the change soon, or just when they get around to it. The log comment box on the wiki editor is just above the Save button. The "/* SECTION TITLE */" message that appears automatically sometimes is not a comment - please add your comment after that. Thanks and season's greetings! Help to search another language with English

When i imported a book with title in my language ( unicode ), i can't use English to search it. I have to search with exactly keyword in my language. For example, can't search for " Tây Sơn" with " Tay Son". Anyone can show me how to do this? Do i need to change some Admin system preferences or search.pl? Thanks for help!

Koha Itemtypes Unavailable and Not Showing in Intranet or Opac

I have had two library instances running for several years but I have never been able to get the itemtype images to show up in either intranet or opac since upgrading to 3.x. I have scoured the files and cannot figure out the problem. When I go to Global Administration in intranet and to Item types, whether trying to enter a new item type or edit an existing item type, the only tabs that are displayed are "None" and "Remote Image." None of the imagetype libraries are available to select. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be here? Oh, and Yes, showItemtypeImg is set to "Show." When you hover over the itemtype image location in Opac, it shows what the itemtype is (e.g., book) but no image is displayed. Running Koha 3.08.06.000 on up-to-date Debian Squeeze (x64). Punctuation in Koha

Hi everybody, I have set the ISBD punctuation in the Administrator preferences, so that I don't have to insert manually the punctuation in cataloging; I have also set the punctuation in the MARC21slim2OPACDetail.xsl file for the Normal View. My question is: is correct to have MARC21 tag without a punctuation? I mean, if another Libray, that doesn't use Koha, import my records with Z29.50, it will have all my tags without punctuation. What do you think? We were so happy and relaxed we didn't even play music. As our family caught up with the latest news, I remembered the Koha family, their spirit of sharing and togetherness.
