Hi all, I need urgent assistance on two queries. I migrated my database to new server but i have challenges on two areas: 1. When i search for biblios i get results but with No physical items for this record. 2. the zebraqueue-daemon is not working. when i run: update-rc.d koha-zebraqueue-daemon defaults i get the following: update-rc.d: /etc/init.d/koha-zebraqueue-daemon: file does not exist This is a production server and any help will be appreciated so much. I am using ubuntu 12.04 with latest stable version of koha . Thank you in advance. Tom

Problem with Zebra Index - Koha v3.08.001

First take a look at all preferences with keyword "zebra", make sure zebra is enabled. Next, look at the cronjob in koha. Try with this command (for Debian) $sudo ps aux | grep zebrasrv (or something like that) to check zebra index server is working on your server. Then look that the koha-common file in /etc/cron.d/koha-common ( you can search with command $locate koha-common) and check for right command crontab. (I'm using Koha packages installed on Ubuntu). If Zebra is not working, you can search for barcode with search the cataloge, but now with the title or name... Hope this can help!

Need report help for authorities

We're running 3.10 and enjoying the enhanced authority features, even if it showed up a problem with our data. Some of our records were imported with terms in the wrong fields so that linking to authority records didn't work (in the biblio as a topical heading when the authority record is for a corporate name, for example). So, ideally I need: 1) A list of authority records that are not attached to biblios ( it would be really useful if this included the term and type of authority). 2) A list of names and terms in authority controlled fields that aren't linked to authorities. I realize I'll probably have to build a separate list for each relevant MARC field. I tried the following from the Reports Library, but it timed out: Authors not in the Authorities Developer: MJ Ray, software.coop Module: Catalog Purpose: List of author names found on biblio records but not authority records Status: Production SELECT DISTINCT(author) AS heading FROM biblio WHERE author NOT IN (SELECT ExtractValue(marcxml,'//datafield[@tag="100"]/subfield[@code="a"]') AS heading FROM auth_header WHERE authtypecode='PERSO_NAME') ORDER BY heading Any thoughts? My IT Guru says he will poke around in the nether regions of the database tonight to see what he can find, but the more information I can gather on the state of the problem, the sooner we can fix it, I hope. Problem with Zebra Index - Koha v3.08.001

Hi All, I have a strange problem with the Zebra indexing on my Koha 3.08.001 installation. When I create Bib records, Koha creates the record fine within the system, and after saving the record, it is searchable within ten minutes of saving it. BUT.... The problem is.... If I search the catalogue via the Staff Client the search will give me results and I can view the Bib/Item Records. If I search the OPAC all searches return no results and you cannot view a Bib record. But, if you click on the "Most Popular" link in the navigation bar of the OPAC, it will list Titles and if you click on them it will take you to their Bib record. It's a weird problem which has left me surprised and I haven't used Zebra enough to know how to solve this problem. Hi, I try to use koha as cms, in waiting for our new website. I've followed these links http://manual.koha-community.org/3.8/en/kohacms.html and http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_as_a_CMS I've no error but the content can't be displayed. What i don't understand is "pages.tmpl". In /usr/share/koha/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/prog/fr-FR/modules , i've only pages.tt. Do i have to change tt in tmpl? Permissions, user and group are ok.
