Koha Upgrade to 3.12.0
by Sander898 17 Jun '13

17 Jun '13

Hi all, I'm using koha 3.10.5 and I wolud like to upgrade to the last 3.12.0. Usually when I make an upade (from 3.10.x to 3.10.5) I do, once all the new perl dependecies are installed: # perl Makefile.PL --prev-install-log /usr/share/koha/misc/koha-install-log # make # make test # sudo make upgrade Is it the same for the upgrade to the new version? Or have I to do something more? Holdings detail for received serials
by Iming Chan 17 Jun '13

17 Jun '13

Dear all, Just started to use Koha Serials module to receive our journals. No problem in doing this task. However, when I see the item holdings, it seems there is a duplication of "Publication Details" (i.e. volume number, issue date). I have attached a screen image to help explain the situation. Have I missed something during serials checkin?? <http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/file/n5758525/Serials_Checkin.jpg> ----- Iming Chan Translib Information Service Melbourne, Australia -- View this message in context: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/Holdings-detail-for-received-serials-tp57… Sent from the Koha-general mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Marc Fields 336, 337, 338 (RDA)
by phillip＠livingstonpubliclibrary.org 15 Jun '13

As the Computer Support Person, I've been asked to add RDA support to our Koha database, but after considerable reading, it is my understanding that the Library of Congress has decided that this is not the way to proceed. Can anyone clarify whether adding RDA support is necessary and required for the Koha Framework to support upcoming MARC records? Thanks, Phillip(a)livingstonpubliclibrary.org
