New Serials Documentation
by Nicole Engard 07 Dec '13

07 Dec '13

I need some help on the serials documentation after the upgrade to 3.14. Here's what I have: http://manual.koha-community.org/3.14/en/serials.html#newsubscription but I'm not sure what the Locale is for at all .. and I'm not sure I explained the inner counter right - the word Rollover made a lot more sense. I also need an example of what the options for 'When there is an irregular issue' do so I can explain that better. In general if those in the know could review what I wrote and either submit a patch to the manual to make it clearer or send me some notes to clear it up that would be great. Thanks Nicole

Dr. Masoom Yasin Zai, VC Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, was the chief guest. He appreciated the efforts of HEC to conduct this valuable workshop. He was of the view that it would play its role in future by changing the working of library professionals as the users will get accustomed to open source software in their respective libraries. He also distributed the certificates among the participants at the end of ceremony. All the participants showed composed mind and expressed their excitement during the whole workshop. They actively took part in the all sessions and tried their best to learn the management software offered in the workshop. This type of workshop can be extended to all other provinces to train the library professionals in the near future. Such type of trainings can be very helpful for developing a union catalogue of all Pakistani university libraries. <http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/file/n5780363/1372179_517448591670313_141…> <http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/file/n5780363/1372179_517448591670313_141…> <http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/file/n5780363/1238167_729016210458221_726…> <http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/file/n5780363/891850_516611868420652_4641…> <http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/file/n5780363/1237001_728651063817891_633…> <http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/file/n5780363/887705_517449845003521_1589…> <http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/file/n5780363/1353998_517446821670490_179…> ----- Sher Afzal University Librarian Bahria University Libraries Islamabad Pakistan -- View this message in context: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/05-DAY-WORKSHOP-ON-INTEGRATED-LIBRARY-SYS… Sent from the Koha-general mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

by Haik Zargaryan 06 Dec '13

Dear community, We are uploading our book covers and we would like to link those bibliographic records to some external pages. So, the user searches and finds the book in the catalog, opens the record, clicks on the cover image and an external link is opened (e-book of the record). Any ideas how to "attach" links to the cover images?? haik.
