Dear all, I am on the way to migrate the records from Libsuit to koha. If anybody had migrated from libsuit to koha please give me some suggestion to proceed successfully. I want to migrate whole bibliographic data, patron data with circulation history.

Koha Setup

Hello to all, I'm not used koha, but I want to try it install for test in one of our server. Server setup with few words is : Debian 7.0 ISP Config Control Panel Apache Mysql Cgi-FCGI All needed Servers Components is installed and working well. Is possible to setup koha without packages, in one of virtual hosts in Server like subdomain.domain.tld If some one can give me some tutorial It would be nice. how to upgrade

Hello, I have installed koha 3.12 on ubuntu by packages, It is successful. Now, I would like know, how to upgrade from 3.12 to 3.14 ? Does the following 3 commands upgrade to latest version? and How to know, up-gradation is successful, once it is completed? apt-get update apt-get upgrade apt-get dist-upgrade thank you Ram.

Koha live dvd 3.14.00

So finally, my first live DVD has been released. I asked some people about live dvd, and i agree about using live DVD for testing and for education, not for production (the biggest reason, i think, is security). So i left everything as default, no more modification and no more feature. http://sourceforge.net/projects/koha-latest/ If anyone has any ideas or requires, please tell me. Greetings, I just wanted to weigh in to say that this survey is extremely important to the strength of Koha at least in the United States. Many many libraries use this survey to determine how Koha stacks up against all of the proprietary solutions, and because of the higher levels of service that is inherent with an open source product, Koha consistently stands apart both for self supported systems and those supported by a company. It is an easy way for people to see how their fellow librarians feel about the choices they made, and because this feedback has been very good, it makes more libraries want to go this route. We attempt to get as many of our customers as possible to respond to this report, not only with the hopes of getting a good response, but also so that we can identify any areas we need to work on, or what types of features need to be added to make librarians happier. delete marc records

Hello there :) i need your help. i have deleted 10 marc records from the system but when i search them through advance search module are appearing only as titles (when i click on them it gives me the message that "this record does not exists any more", are not dissappeard. why is this happening? can you please help me? the same thing happens with the authority records.

Try this approach to create your Marc data from excel files. http://manual.koha-community.org/3.2/en/marceditexcel.html The one step that needs to be added is in the Marc Delimited Text Translator. Before you press finish, right-click on all the 952 fields and join them together. This gives a clean input of the 952 data and only adds one item per excel row.
