SIP2 question
by Catherine Kerrigan 16 Dec '13

16 Dec '13

Hi folks! We are currently installing an RFID/self-check system and have setup the SIP2 server successfully, but we are wondering what is the best way to set it up to automatically start on system boot. Currently we are running the following command to start it manually: perl C4/SIP/SIPServer.pm C4/SIP/SIPconfig.xml Thanks, Catherine Kerrigan ::: Librarian T 08 8299 7300 ::: F 08 8172 0504 Adelaide Central School of Art ::: PO Box 225 Fullarton SA 5063 7 Mulberry Road Glenside SA 5065 ::: (adjacent to the Adelaide Film Studios) www.acsa.sa.edu.au<http://www.acsa.sa.edu.au/> Library news<http://www.acsalibrary.blogspot.com.au/> _________________________ Adelaide Central School of Art is now located adjacent to the Adelaide Film Studios in the Glenside Cultural Precinct. Problem with printing barcodes
by Catherine Kerrigan 15 Dec '13

15 Dec '13

Hi folks! Apart from struggling with the label template, I have been struggling as well to print out the barcodes. I ended up stripping out the old barcodes (based on our previous system's accession numbers) and have managed to get Koha to auto-generate new barcodes for each item. However, when I try to print, I get a barcode that is too large for the standard Avery 5160 and the bib details for the biblio/barcode layout do not print. As far as I can tell, every setting is the same as the demo sites. Our version of Koha is 3.12.03.000. Many thanks. A4 template for barcode labels
by Catherine Kerrigan 15 Dec '13

15 Dec '13

Hi folks! I need to generate new barcode labels for our items but the standard label template in the demo sites is for Avery 5160 which is American letter size. Does anyone have one for A4 please? Many thanks. Hello all! with newer versions of Koha (3.14, 3.12), if a date is entered in Subject Added Entry-Chronological Term (Marc field 648), will it be searchable in Koha's advance search of Date or Year? Re: [Koha] Circulation/ fines rules
by BRANNON, CHRISTOPHER 13 Dec '13

13 Dec '13

Cab, That is correct. All/All is your default. If there isn't a different rule for a more specific set of criteria, then it will fall to that rule. It has been suggested to have an All/All rule for each library, but I find that to be redundant as well, and makes the All/All rule for all libraries pointless. ___________________________ Christopher Brannon IT Coordinator Coeur d'Alene Public Library 702 E Front Ave Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814 (208)769-2315 Ext. 456 cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org www.cdalibrary.org Message: 5 Date: Thu, 12 Dec 2013 17:18:46 -0500 From: Cab Vinton <bibliwho(a)gmail.com> To: Koha list <koha(a)lists.katipo.co.nz> Subject: [Koha] Circulation/ fines rules Message-ID: <CABW43USW60m9Rqq0sCDteuaS=i8r_3Bb4rbXkDaqTCOU5uJUaA(a)mail.gmail.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 With a 3-branch library system & the following rules, am I right in assuming that rows 2 thru 4 are redundant & can be safely deleted? How to print checked out items and news from the quick slip
by magmatic 12 Dec '13

12 Dec '13

I like that you can print news items and checked out items from the Print Slip feature. But I would like to print these things with a Quick Slip, the thing that gets printed when you just press Enter. I tried copying over the message body in Tools -> Notices & Slips, but it doesn't seem to work. It's as if the Quick Slip can't print news items and checked out items. Any ideas? Thanks. -- Tim -- View this message in context: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/How-to-print-checked-out-items-and-news-f… Sent from the Koha-general mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
