FW: Modify the Serial Routing slip

How can I change the "Date Due" column into the "Location" column; and add a signature column in the serial routing slip? Our library routes out journals and magazines to staff members in different divisions. The staff members do not need to return the journals and magazines to the library. They just need to forward to the next person according to the location. That is why we need a "location" column. Our library is using the Koha 3.12.03.000. How to link authorities to biblios?

Hi to all! Let me introduce myself, I am a librarian in Prague, Czechia, I am a beginner in Koha. What is my problem? I imported bibliographic and authority records into Koha 3.12 installed on Ubuntu 12.04. But they were not interlinked together, neither after the importing process, which I had previously supposed they should. The priorities were set AutoCreateAuthorities = yes, BiblioAddsAuthorities = allow. Each bibliographic record has created its own separate authority, although they should be shared by several bibliographic records. I ran the program links_bibs_to authorities.pl but he did not join it. It is not some method to consolidate authority records? My example is on URL (one author Holomek, two books, two separate authorities, should be one only) http://koha2.doxos.eu/cgi-bin/koha/opac-authorities-home.pl?op=do_search& type=opac&operator=start&value=Holomek&marclist=any&and_or=and&orderby= HeadingAsc. Could somebody give me advice, what should I do? Is there some guide how to import biblios and authorities records and to interlink them together? Many thanks in advance for your help. Hardware requirements for a machine running server and client together - Elive?

Hi to all. A perhaps stupid question but very important for me. How much powerful should be a computer for running Koha as server and a client together working with about 70.000 records? Thanks in advance And... can I install Elive Linux instead of pure Debian? Thanks Andrea Furin --

In my OPAC some of the records have digital files asociated. But I need that onlu logged users can open that files... Can you help me please?

re-importing books, duplicate barcodes

I have imported a large pile of books already. Now I'm going to import another pile, except that there are lots of duplicate books. All books have barcodes in the marc file, so I want to test for duplicity on that field. If there is a duplicate, I want to update the existing book with new information. Can anyone give me some detailed instructions on how to do this? The last time I looked, I think it was possible, but a little confusing. Hello all! I will be commencing soon working on sound recordings and importing them into Koha. Anybody who can give me tips and tricks on how to go about? What tag should be used for album(s)? I'm not sure but I think it's in Series? koha xslt and subject at the right side

Hi all! With default xslt and edited xslt based on the default xslt, I'm getting the following output: <http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/file/n5783572/1.jpg> The subject is included with all other biblio details. However, with an empty xslt, I get the following output <http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/file/n5783572/2.jpg> The subject is at the right side. Now, my question is: How do I get the subjects on the right side using the default xslt? Please lead me to what should I customize for my desired output.
