There is no bug in 3.14 which prevents searching by barcode. Nor is there a bug which prevents the barcode from being saved to the items table, which you seem to be telling us is the case. It sounds like your Koha installation has been set up in such a way that barcode isn't being saved correctly. If there is no barcode to be searched, then of course searching by barcode will fail. i think the problem in mySql table (item) when i add an item barcode by frame marc in koha not added into mySql table (item) but when i added barcode in mySql table directly , making index and Search by barcode working perfect , i can't understand that !!

Hi, If you have more than one Marc framework, check the setting of 952$p from the framework you use to see if the mapping with items.barcode is correct. Go to "Administration > Marc bibliographic framework". Choose a framework and select "MARC structure". Then, go to 952 and select "p" for the barcode subfield. Check if Koha link, in "advanced constraints", is set to items.barcode. Cheers!
