Documentation question: If I have AllowOfflineCirculation set to allow, then when I go offline what URL do I go to to circulate? Or is it the regular URL I always used for check in / check out? Thanks Nicole

using javascript functions with koha

Hi, I have links that rely on 2 javascript functions that show/hide pop up div. Unfortunately I cam not sure where I can place them as the 'opacuserjs' only accepts javascript embedded in: $(document).ready(function(){}); Below I have posted the two functions. I have a question about customizing searching results. I have made a MARC field (300_6) clickable with link to download ebook. How to display this field on the searching results page? And more, how can i create a new tab on opac-detail page (near tabs HOLDING and COMMENTS) to display 300_6 field above with download link. I saw in my library OPAC detail, there is a tab "Title notices" show 521b field. Thanks all! Best regards! The opacuserjs preference accepts any kind of inline JavaScript you want to put in it. But it looks to me like the code is intended to work with an onclick event attached to an element on the page. What is the script intended to do? It would be a simple thing to add these vendor numbers to the serials records during the conversion process prior to upload. But, unless I'm missing something, this number doesn't go into the MARC record. If it does, what field (MARC 21)? Where would the vendor number need to go in order to add the vendor number to the incoming serials records? Another table in the database? E-resource management with Koha

Dear all, Now a days many big libraries are purchasing e-books in their library collections but few neither integrate it with their Library management software nor provide appropriate methods to access the same. Therefore my suggestion is such libraries may use Koha LMS which is wonderful software for automation purpose and making catalogue of such reading materials. Since, vendors/Publishers already provide the Marc/Excel record of purchased e-books so it could be directly imported into the Koha without much effort and investment. Cannot edit public list

Hello All, In Koha admin interface, I am unable to add a record to a public list that I created, using same user/password combo that I used to log in to Koha admin. I am able to view this public list (it still exists; was not deleted), and I can edit my private list, but cannot edit the public list. Through the OPAC interface I have the same problem --- cannot add anything to public list even though I can view its contents. Details: When I am viewing a record, in either admin interface or OPAC, I click on the "Add To" arrow and select LIST. Where it says, "select an existing list" -- there is no option. If I am logged in under my personal account, then I can add to my private list but there is still no public list option. Note that I have tried adding to the public list using both my personal and admin logins, and yes, my personal login does have superlibrarian permissions ( I double checked this). I searched bugzilla and see no known bugs. I am running Koha v.3.10.04.000 Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks! Hi, I'm in the process of upgrading an old database to the current version of Koha. The migration process had errors, which I am now trying to identify and fix (one by one, alas). Presently, the Koha instance working on the updated database does not display any tool in the Tools page. It only displays the headings: Patrons and circulation Additional tools Catalog and nothing below any of them. (Another instance of Koha does display all available tools.) I suspect that this has to do with some missing entry in some table of the Koha mysql database. The question is: which one? Any hint? (A related question is, how can I debug the intranet/cgi-bin/tools/tools-home.pl script from the command line?) Many thanks, Giuseppe.

I'm trying to make a report in latest Koha version so that I can download the report in csv, I'm wondering if it's possible to put punctuation in between data of fields that has more than one data (e.g. in subject, there could be more than one data for the it). Is this doable?
