Greetings all, I'm trying to repair some imported records with the batch item modification tool using 3.16 package on Debian but the 'lost status' column does not show in the 'Edit Items' area but does display above. Any ideas? Thank you, Clint.

This is less of a Koha question and more of a P2V migration question. What you need is a P2V (physical to virtual) tool. Which tool and what exact approach will depend on your selected VM. A simple mysql backup and restore will not necessarily do the job. You need the Koha files. Again where these would be located will be based on your installation method (tarball or package) which we know nothing about so far. This is a non-trivial manoeuvre, with unexpected complications without proper planning. You might require expert help to achieve this, given that you mention not having a lot of experience on Ubuntu. hope that helps -idg -- Indranil Das Gupta Phone : +91-98300-20971 Blog : http://indradg.randomink.org/blog IRC : indradg on irc://irc.freenode.net Twitter : indradg -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Please exchange editable Office documents only in ODF Format. Koha not showing Due, Date, title, checkout date after upgrade
by Admire Mutsikiwa 30 Mar '15

Hi, I am running Koha installed via the apt-get install koha-common method. I am not sure on how to configure the cronjob for this installation type. During checkout, the system is not displaying the due date, title, checkout date etc. It is only displaying the call number. I will appreciate any help to resolve the issue. by Dalal Al-Akhras 29 Mar '15

Hi, Could you please help me! We have this library http://library.mcst.edu.sa (Koha version 3.12.07). I'd like to install a copy of the library (same files + DB) on a virtual machine in order to make some tests because I don't want to make the tests on the production environment. I don't have much experience in Ubuntu and koha. Could you please tell me how can I take a copy from that library, or guide me to any useful article or YouTube. Glad that wonderful suggestions are coming through the Koha experts/users. As my reply will not go to the list, I am marking this mail only to you. I am including our creations Head, Nancy, who will share with you the script, etc., so that the consolidated inputs can be incorporated. I suggest, however, that only the important changes be incorporated, as a lot of work has gone into it already. I take this opportunity to give details of our low cost laptop, please see the attachment. As it costs only Rs. 5,000 plus taxes, customs duties, etc., It is affordable. Adding to what Zeno has mentioned, the title of the presentation is a misnomer. At 3 min 55 sec you are clearly instructing the viewer to add the "oldstable" repository. Oldstable is a moniker for the previous stable version of Koha at any given point of time. This is NOT recommended best practise. The title of the presentation should reflect that and the storyboard and transcription script should IMHO be updated to accommodate the change. cheers -idg Bye Zeno Tajoli _______________________________________________ Koha mailing list http://koha-community.orgKoha@lists.katipo.co.nzhttp://lists.katipo.co.nz/m… -- With Regards *Mr.Manju Naika*
