Koha and British Library Z39.50

I am new to using KOHA and am trying to configure a z39.50 connection for British Library records as my library is using DDC and has many books from the UK. I contacted the BL and was told I need a special z39.50 client to import records as well as an account and that a web browser won't work. So my question is: is anyone importing records from the British Library? And if so what client are you using (mercury and marcedit were suggested)? Any help would be much appreciated. Ariel

Hi Mirko and all, thanks for the help. I followed the instructions on the wiki for switching to DOM indexing and upon index rebuild, I see these errors (below). I still cannot pull any records up in a search of my catalog. However, when I look at the staff client > system information, I do not see the warnings about GRS1/DOM anymore so I must have done something right. Ideas? Misleading OPAC search result availability information

Dear all, Just noticed that when a title is on order, the OPAC search result shows as: Availability: No items available. However, when a title has item(s) being processed, the same screen shows as: Availability: No items available On order (X) Have I missed something? OT: Good kiosk option for OPACs

Hey, all. I've tried several Linux and Windows based kiosk options, with little luck. They all seem to do one quirky thing or another and end up frustrating staff and patrons. Could someone suggest a good kiosk setup or install that works well with the Koha OPAC interface, please? Thanks much in advance! Jim Maroon

A notice using only the 'print' template can't be deleted

Hi all, I'm on a git install of the master. I noticed something while tinkering with http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=14070 Use-case: Wanted a letter that will only be printed and NOT emailed. What I found: 1/ can define and save such a letter with only the print template filled 2/ letter shows up in the list or letters with 'edit' and 'delete' links next to it 3/ edit works fine, but delete doesn't work. In fact, with delete, the <td> values of library, module, code and name are not displayed. 4/ delete does not work for a letter using print only template To delete: Edit the letter and add a 'print' template (additionally). Now the letter can be deleted.
