Remove blank space at bottom of printer receipts

Dear all, Just installed Epson TM-T88IV receipt printer and every issue receipt, there is large blank space at the bottom. Does anyone know how I can remove this, so we are not wasting so much paper? staff member responsible of loan/renewal recorded in issues?

Dear Kohaers, is the information concerning which staff member was responsible of a loan or renewal of a given item recorded anywhere in the database? I couldn't find it in the "issues" tables. Assuming it is not, it could be a relevant information to record, in cases where several staff members (or even all patrons) have issueing privileges. Many thanks, Giuseppe.

Lost status not available in batch item modify tool

Koha 3.16 via Debian packages; Using the batch item modification tool although the lost status displays there is no 1- Lost status entry in the Edit Items area. It goes from 0 - Withdrawn status to 2 - Source of classification or shelving scheme I would appreciate any help to diagnose the issue. the definition of AllowOnShelfHolds?

I have a question regarding the option "AllowOnShelfHolds". With the option, we will able to disallow hold requests to be placed on items that are not checked out. But in case of multiple items for one record, the rule seems not work. For example, we have 3 items for one record, one of the 3 items was checkout. User will be able place a hold on the item even 2 of them are not checkouted. Is this correct behavior? Thanks, Justin

Patron Import Documentation

Hi all, The patron import documentation appears to be out of date: http://translate.koha-community.org/manual/3.18/en/html-desktop/#patronimpo… I have some questions though. 1. Where do patron attributes go? They aren't in the notes on the side anymore 2. Since userid has to be unique do you have to fill it in - I would assume 2 blanks would be 'not unique' 3. What if I have borrowernumbers? It looks like you can't import them anymore - and if you see the note in the manual you used to be able to 4. Do you see anything else wrong with the documentation? Some problems with transactions in circulation module

Dear Friends, Our circulation desk reported some problems associated with circulation module. Our Koha version is 3.16.9. Kindly give some attention. *Case1:* No fine displaying. The book has Rs.20/- fine The screen shot taken on 20/4/2015 while check in the book. Eventhough the duedate is 31/3/2015 no fine generated for this student. Configuration of database and fields in Koha.

Hello everyone, We are moving ever so close to our Koha installation and other web components. Things take longer than you think they will. I need to clarify a few more things for our IT & web people. Context: We will be hosting locally our instance on Debian Wheezy (with LAMP of course) and integrating the search functionality into our institutional library page as well as have a fully operational front-end to Koha by itself. 1. (a multi-part) Will we need to configure anything about the database (mysql) or turn-on/turn-off any functions in Koha before it goes live? I mean, will we need to arrange or configure any MARC specific fields in the database or will that all be set up with the installation itself (do we need to do any mapping of MARC fields to the database or will that be maintained by the routine of indexing over time?) - - 2. Are things like ISBD and MARC view, aesthetics of the OPAC and any links or images added to its front-facing portion all switched on in the admin client? 3. The varied plug-ins found of Koha instances in special and public libraries show the types of uses and discovery possibilities in the front-end of Koha. Are these plug-ins mostly added or appended in the directories or are they added via the admin client? Please don't hesitate to ask for clarification if needs be.
