Re: [Koha] Common error handling in KOHA
by Rejeesh K.Nair 14 Feb '17

Hi Barton Chittenden, Thanks for your reply. I am aware about the case you mentioned but that is not the thing. The scenario is different in my case , I need to navigate to a common error page when the application shows some error like "BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/events/add_event.pl line 172" You can see a sample error message which usually shows in KOHA for page not found - 404 error. Same as this , could you please help me out to redirect to a common page whenever the above mentioned error occurs. Test PLACK performance Koha 16.11
by Alberto Branco 10 Feb '17

10 Feb '17

Hi all, I have 2 Koha instances 16.11, both ubuntu 16.04 and apache 2.4.18. One of them has memcached and plack active, they both seem to have equal performance. These 2 instances have mysql 5.6.26 and the same database for testing purposes. Is there a way to find out if plack is working 100%? Can't really find differences in performance. Best Regards Alberto Branco

Dear All, I am maintaining my blog/website at http://mishravk.com/ for free flow of knowledge and sharing of information which i have without any restriction and charge. Today i came across a commercial service provider of Koha at http://bestbookbuddies.com/faq who copied my original tutorial on " Data Conversion (Book and Journals) from Libsys to Excel/Marc <http://mishravk.com/2014/11/data-conversion-book-and-journals-from-libsys-t…>" from http://mishravk.com/2014/11/data-conversion-book-and- journals-from-libsys-to-excelmarc/ . In the current instance they have copied the content and screen shots and converted into PDF with watermarking, most surprising is they have not yet mentioned the original source. Therefore all library fraternity is requested to check whether the service provider is selling there own product/brain or its others which is already available free of cost some where and provided by voluntary basis by library professionals itself. Please note : I did not allow anyone to use my website materials available at http://mishravk.com/ for any kind of commercial benefits directly/indirectly without my prior permission and attributions. by vanda koha 08 Feb '17

08 Feb '17

Hi everybody, I'm working in a small library and we have installed koha version 16.11.03, but we are having some problems with the search. We only recover information when we use the itemsearch. Whenever we use the advanced search we get no results at all, regardless the term we use (title, author, subject, keyword, etc). The message we get is this: No results found No results match your search for 'ti,wrdl: manual' in Biblioteca catalog. What are we doing wrong? Can anyone please help us? Many thanks in advance, Vanda
