Hello All, As some of you may have heard at the last IRC meeting, I'm in the middle of moving into a new home. This has delayed the release of 17.05 a bit. Typos in Koha database description (Table "borrowers")

Hi Recently I have found some typos in the SchemaSpy description of table "borrowers". * http://schema.koha-community.org/16_11/tables/borrowers.html 1. In the comment for field "debarred" (YYY-MM-DD) should by replaced by (YYYY-MM-DD) 2. In the comment for field "smsalertnumber" SNS should be replaced by SMS 3. In the comments of fields "contactname", "contacttitle", "guarantorid", "relationship" the term "guarentor" is used, but it should be "guarantor". 4. The comment for field "password" reads "patron/borrower's encrypted password". I think it could be mkore explicit by writing "patron/borrower's MD5 encrypted password". NCIP project

Dear All, We are working on NCIP server integration with koha.We are looking for support for the same. Currently, ncip framework (server and responses etc) appears to be working. However, data from koha db is not being picked up. There appears to be some communication error between the koha library (C4) and ncip server's modules. We need help to get this working.Let me know if any one can contribute.We have funding for this. Vikram Zadgaonkar

ICU Chains Configuration for Spanish

I'm having issues searching for the Title ¿Tartamudeas? : una guía para adolescentes / After a bit of poking around, I realized that searching for ¿Tartamudeas? works, but a search for Tartamudeas or Tartamudeas? does not -- i.e. the leading '¿' [Character 'INVERTED QUESTION MARK' (U+00BF)] is not being counted as punctuation, and the resulting search string must match '¿Tartamudea' exactly to get a hit. I think this can be fixed via an icu_chain rule, as would be found in https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/ICU_Chains_Library, but we don't have anything on the wiki for locale="es". Has anyone run into this / have a rule that I can use? Thanks, --Barton

How can i count the total catalog entry by user wise

We've 4 staff in our library for catalog entry and each of them have koha librarian accounts. We would like analyze their work by counting the total number of books they entered. I can not use OPAC URL without the port number

Hi everybody. We still can not use the OPAC without the port number. we still have to type: biblio.suddomain.domain:port number In the koha-sites we have: DOMAIN="suddomain.domain" INTRAPORT="XXXX" INTRASUFFIX='-intra" OPACPORT:YYYY OPACPREFIX="Thename" OPACSUFFIX="" but when we type the URL: OPACPREFIX.DOMAIN it does not works, we have to type the OPACPORT: OPACPREFIX.DOMAIN:YYYY -- *Luis Moisés Rojas P.*

Hi everybody, The next development cycle of Koha (17.11) is going to start before the month of May is out. Over the next 6 months we will be building the latest, even more awesome, release of Koha. We strongly believe that having everybody involved is fundamental to achieving this. We want to build a task force and for that, we need to know who can commit time and effort that we can count on, in order to estimate the goals we can reach.
