Suppressing columns in "checkouts" table

Hello, Is there a way to suppress some of the columns in the "checkouts" table? Since we only have one library, columns like "Home Library" and "Checked out from" are redundant. I can see how to do it "on the fly"; I am looking for a permanent/global setting. Any pointers? Thanks, Chris Brown

Problem with set library

Hello, according the manual: http://manual.koha-community.org/3.14/en/setlibrary.html I should be able to use set library (I have 3 on the same instance) but looks like only superlibrarian can do that. Any idea how to enable it for other staff users? Best Regards, Giuseppe

Unable to install Koha

Sir, I have installed debian 9 through netinstall in Virtual Box. Then I started to install as per steps given in Koha wiki and various blog. During installation, I couldn't get some files due to some errors. I do not know how to install from tar ball. As our institute can not afford paid services and my location is also a tribal area. Sorting different languages

Good morning We have a catalogue with books in Arabic, Hebrew and spanish.. the romanic books are sorted propertly, but arabic and hebrew are completly unsorted. Is it possible to tell koha to sort all three languages? perhaps there is not possible to sort romanic and arabic and hebrew.. but at least give some kind of sorting to arabic results for example. #1005 - Can't create table `koha_library`.`aqbasket`

Koha without a2dismod mpm_event or Koha php-fpm on the same box?

Hello Everybody, In the past, I installed a Koha running out of Ubuntu 16.04. Everything is OK. But, Koha cannot use as CMS to interact with readers as my expectation. So, I installed Drupal CMS. The problem: - Drupal is recommended run with PHP 7.1 - PHP 7.1 will run well with php-fpm - php-fpm cannot enable with mpm_prefork, but mpm_event - mpm_event cannot play with itk - Without itk, AssignUserID cannot be accepted by Apache 2.4 How can I run Koha as www-data user, not koha instance user? Cannot upgrade Koha on Ubuntu: unmet dependencies

I need some help with my Koha installation: for the life of me I can't upgrade to the most recent version. This is the version information shown by Koha: Koha version: 3.18.04.000 OS version ('uname -a'): Linux biblioteko-esperanto-cat 3.13.0-141-generic #190-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jan 19 12:53:50 UTC 2018 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux Perl version: 5.018002 MySQL version: mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.59, for debian-linux-gnu (i686) using readline 6.3 Apache version: Zebra version: Zebra 2.0.44 My OS is Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS. I installed Koha from Debian packages. These are my repos at /etc/apt/ sources.list.d/koha.list and at /etc/apt/sources.list.d/koha.list.distUpgrade: deb http://debian.koha-community.org/koha oldstable main Whenever I try apt-get upgrade and apt-get dist-upgrade, the package koha- common is kept back at its current version, although aptitude shows me 17.05 is available. The problem seem to be dependencies. When I run apt-get -u install koha-common it complains that it depends on libmojolicious-perl (>= 6.0) and libswagger2- perl (>= 0.59), which cannot be installed.
