The only tag I found for this is 352 but... is it prepared to save an uploaded image? Does the database support binary data (GIF/JPEG/PNG) ? Thanks.

Suppressing display of "Alternate Address" and "Alternative Contact" info
by Chris Brown 16 Mar '18

16 Mar '18

Gentle Reader, Is there any way to suppress the display of the "Alternative Address" and "Alternative Contact" information on the patron page? We don't use these fields and find them mildly annoying because we always have to scroll down to see the checkout table. I would be grateful for any suggestions. We are using Koha 17.11 Chris Brown

LDAP sync
by Mr. Ian McNaught 11 Mar '18

11 Mar '18

Hi We've successfully got Koha running using LDAP to authenticate via our active directory server, but we would like to go one step further and have patron accounts provisioned based on user accounts in AD. Currently a user account will be created if they log in to the OPAC interface, but if they try to take a book on loan without first logging in, they will not have a patron account. To avoid this issue we are manually creating patron accounts that match up with AD accounts, but it would be nice if this part could be automated. Is there any sync script available? Or web service we could use to create said script? Has anyone else resolved this issue?
