I've been working on SQL phrasebooks to enable multiple backend DB support. I would be happy to help with changing these fields around. I'm currently using LC for cataloguing - Koha seems to be Dewey orientated, can this be changed to accept LC class locations? Regarding new members, can I enter categories such as temporary visitor, non-staff etc and how do I do this. Within the members module can I remove the districts allocated i.e Lewin, Foxton, Shannon etc and again how do I do this please? 2.0 release meeting

Can anyone recommend an interactive voice response programme, preferably open source, that will run on linux? I'd like to use one with koha so that overdue reminder calls and reserve notification can be generated automatically. cheers Jo.

How to enter item types?

I just installed koha. When I tried to enter some books, I found the item type drop down list is empty. How do I enter the item type information. Can I use the item type to differentiate reference books from borrow books? If not, how do I do that? Any information is appreciated Kevin Luo
