Hello. I have a quick question on indexing for the MARC structure. If I fill in the Link To Fields in the subfield editing function, does that create the cross-references to the fields so when I search a title, the software will also search the fields that are linked, or is this something different? error 1064 at the installation

Hi ! I'm trying Koha on a Debian sarge testing, but I have an error after launching install.pl and enter my sql password. This is the error message : CREATING DATABASE Creating the MySQL database for Koha... 0 ERROR 1064 (42000) at line 772: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'return char(4) default NULL, renewals tinyint(4) default NULL, timestamp tim' at line 9 Start tag expected, '<' not found at /usr/lib/perl5/XML/LibXML/SAX.pm line 64 at /usr/share/perl5/XML/Simple.pm line 287 BEGIN failed--compilation a I'm a beginner with sql. Cannot use module

Dear All, I've installed Koha 2.2.7 successfully. But when I'm accessing the intranet or the opac modules it is giving the eroor 500. The main reason is that it cannot use the following module in the file Biblio.pm line no 1038. use MARC::File::XML; Could any one suggest how perl can use this module? I've installed Koha 2.2.7 but when requesting the intranet page in the browser, getting the error. I'm successfully running Koha 2.2.4. My perl version is 5.6.1. Multiple Libraries On One Server

Lets say you set up a Koha Server...added multiple Libraries... How would you make it so specific admin's could ONLY access THEIR library. And users from specific sites could only access the library of their site? I'm thinking multiple elementary schools sharing 1 server. --Huck

Barcode Autogeneration

Gday Jason Are you using Marc or NOMARC. I was using NOMARc and had to alter the code to get it working. I was able to get the barcodes to AUtogenerate then I realised that after printing the labels it Wasn't necessary ≤as you print each label stick it to the book and scan it then!≥. I'm currently on Holidays for the next two weeks. I can post the code on this List and in the Bug report to get Autogeneration to work with NOMARC ≤or with anything≥. When it does work counts of numbers in Sequence, not sure how it starts. Don't think it uses country codes ≤but who cares≥. BE warned Dial up internet is a luxury for me.
