MARC Check

Hi All, Im trying configure Koha for my library and ive run into a few problems with the MARC Check. I have two errors: The biblio.biblionumber and biblioitems.biblioitemnumber fields MUST : # be mapped to a MARC subfield, # be in tab -1 AND/// ALL items fields MUST : # be mapped to the same tag, # and they must all be in the 10 (items) tab Ive tried a million things to resolve them but havent had any luck and Im worried now Ive altered things so much in the MARC structure these errors are just going to be the start of more problems! Problems creating new MARC structure (can't add new tags!)

Hello i've setup a new installation of koha to migrate biblio catalogs from older CDS/ISIS program to koha. My environment is: - Debian Etch - Apache 2.2 - Perl 5.8.8 with all koha required modules - Mysql 4.1 (manual installation) - koha 2.2.9 At time of install none of MARC framework were imported into koha since i prefer to create myself a new UNIMARC framework that i need (in italian!) I was able to logon as kohaadmin, go to biblio framework (i see Default framework that is empty) and create a new framework. But when i try to add new tags it prompt me for create new framework (framework name) based on Default an return on framework admin. Clicking add new tag retur to the same form and so on. So i was unable to add new tags to framework and create my MARC structure. What's wrong? Thank You Davide Bortolini

Missing files in default-framework?

Hello everybody I'm making my second steps with koha. Right now I'm trying to add some biblios in the catalogue. When I try to alter the fields 007 or 008 with the dialog utility I get a message about downloading plugin-launcher.pl In the error logs I see: [Fri Jun 22 13:05:24 2007] [error] [client 172.29.114.1] HTML::Template->new() : Cannot open included file /usr/local/koha/int ranet/htdocs/intranet-tmpl/default/en/value_builder/marc21_field_007.tmpl : file not found. at /usr/share/perl5/HTML/Template. and some other errors I think are subsequent to this one. If I change the Preference order for intranet interface templates from default to npl everything seem to be OK. I like the default :-) Is there something wrong or have I done something stupid? What perl editor is best for Koha

Let me rephrase my question. I want NPL or the default templates of OPAC (OPAC home page) to change its background color, add background pictures, add other menus and logs to look and feel like our parent organization web page. Is it possible to modify with the help of some sort of editor? Regards, Mulu G.

problems with modifying biblio framework

Greetings! First time poster here. I looked through multiple Koha forums for an answer, but no luck. I'm setting up a library for a small non-profit (I'm installing the software, teaching them how to catalog, etc.). Right now I'm having problems modifying the biblio frameworks. Any help that you can provide would be great. I'm using: Koha 2.2.7 _and_ 2.2.8 (switching between the two as needed) Windows XP Perl version: 5.008008.817 MySQL 4.0.26 Apache 2.0.59 I want to add fields for the Leader and the 006-008. I've been switching between Koha 2.2.7 and 2.2.8 with no luck; I'm getting errors at different points with both versions. Here are the steps I'm doing: 2.2.7 Open default biblio framework Add new MARC tag 007 Add subfield"@" to tab 0, not repeatable, not mandatory, using plugin:marc21_field_007.pl Click on "add MARC" and get error message: The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Error message: Premature end of script headers: addbiblio.pl 2.2.8 Click on "add MARC" and get same error message above So, let's delete 007 and start all over Open default biblio framework Add new MARC tag 007 Try to add subfield "@" Get error message The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Hello community: My name is Luis Maguiña. I\'m a librarian and GNU/Linux user. I work at San Marcos University (Peru, South America). We began a project. The aim: change ILS that we use actually, because we have many problems with it. We had tests and we decided use Koha. I began the project in 2006 (October). Humanities Faculty use Koha for catalogue, step by step we want use other modules. I want to collaborate with Koha, I think it\'s the major manner that we can give back to community by a gift and improve koha. I\'m a librarian, I use Debian GNU/Linux and I know Perl, PHP, Java. I work with computers and use GNU/Linux since 1993.
