error when creating database

Hi, this is my first time to installing koha on linux platform, so I'm a newbie. I'm using ubuntu linux ver. 2.12.1. I already finish my "apt-get" installation followed by the additional perl modules using MCPAN install. koha barcodes

I have asked about this 2 or 3 times and gotten no response. I submitted a bug report and got no response either. I was trying to scan in our barcodes manually and it would not accept them. If either of you here a solution could you let me know? Hi Jason, I have the same problem. Did you find a solution here? Add biblio problem

I recently installed Koha 2.2.9 on Ubuntu 6.06 LTS. I set up the Z39.50 service to go to our current system. I'm having a problem importing a bibliographic records into the system. These are the steps and results I am getting. 1. Go into Catalogue/Add Biblio 2. Select Create Empty biblio. 3. Enter an ISBN in the 020 field 4. Click z39.50 Search 5. A box appears with our catalog address for the Z39.50 search 6. Do the search 7. After it retrieves the record select Import 8. It retrieves the record and fills in the default MARC record 9. Click Add Bibliographic Record and go to Items 10. After this I get the following error: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, samdahldh(a)vmi.edu and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. Koha software and Amazon

Hi to all, from version 2.2.6 Koha can be enrich with data and images from Amazon. After read the code in /koha-2.2.9/modules/C4/Amazon.pm I think that I need to subscribe the Amazon Web Services with different users for every installation of Koha. But is there a generic agree for Koha users with Amazon ? As I see in the Amazon Web Services Customer Agreement <http://www.amazon.com/AWS-License-home-page-Money/b/ref=sc_fe_c_2_3434651_2…> 5.1. Amazon Associates Web Service [the service called from the module Amazon.pm at the address ttp://xml.amazon.com/onca/xml3] 5.1.3. You are not permitted to use Amazon Associates Web Service with any Application or for any use that does not have, as its principal purpose, driving traffic to the Amazon Website and driving sales of products and services on the Amazon Website. 5.1.4. Without our prior written approval, you may not access or use the Amazon Associates Web Service for the purpose of aggregating, analyzing, extracting, or repurposing any Amazon Properties (including the AWS Content). You should contact us at aws @ amazon.com to seek our prior approval 5.1.7. Hi all - I know this should be really easy, so I'm sorry if I'm submitting a total noob question, but here goes. I'm trying to change the barcode field so that we can just manually type in our barcode numbers, instead of having one automatically supplied. However, I changed the auto barcode parameter to 0, then to -1, then just tried deleting the parameter, and it seems to have noeffect - when I go to make a biblio record, it still sticks a serialized barcode number in (1, right now, but if I save the record, next time its 2, etc), and it won't even let me type over it. turn off auto Barcode when changing items

Hello, Is it possible to turn off the auto Barcode feature when changing items, which do already exist and then turn that feature back on. I do not want to generate a barcose each time when a minor detail changes. If this is possible what is the best way to do this. May be a MySQL table that controls this (like a switch). Thanks for any information or hints on this. Am I the only one who has problems with this?
