You'll probably get some other answers, but I thought I'd tackle the inhouse reports question. I also have loads of inhouse reports and unpublished materials (about 1/3 of my collection). Yes, I have to use the MARC record to describe these items, but I was able to customise Koha so that only the title, barcode and format are required fields. problem opening in browser

Dear Member, I am not getting the opac and intranet in browser when type localhost:80 automatically goes to maintenance.pl http://localhost/cgi-bin/koha/maintenance.pl and when type localhost:8080 it shows production mode - trapped fatal error My zebraserver and yaz client is running properly and installed all perl model properly........... General Question from Newbie

Please forgive me if this is an incorrect use of this forum, but I am looking to install Koha for use as the ILS at my small, alternative school and I am a bit overwhelmed. I have an IT guy who is well-versed in the programming side of things, but I want to make sure that I communicate with him best about how to set things up to fit my needs. Has anyone created a "Koha for Dummies" tutorial? Or is anyone out there in a similar situation with a small collection (>500 titles) who is using the basic features (cataloging, Z39.50 for acquisition, circulation and OPAC) and can give me some tips? We have no budget to contract with anyone (i.e. LibLime) for training or tech support in the initial stages. I appreciate your help! Gayle Prentice Wood Mt. Scott Learning Centers

libxslt runtime problem

Dear Member, I am getting an error during final step of koha installation using fc7 Warning: is -------XML::LibXSLT compiled against libxslt 10122, but runtime libxslt is older 10117 I have installed XML::LibXSLT 1.66 libxml2-2.6.27 But it shows compilation problem so how can I replace new with old one and from where I will get.
