I am using koha 2.2.9 on windows xp..and When i click on parametrs->authorised value then cilck on add authorities value and aslo input data but no data is adding.....and there is New catagory option if i also add some data here no data is added...how can i solve that..please help me And i am taking help from that page"http://www.kohadocs.org/usersguide/ch01s03.html" but 3.2 option is not working....which is "Authorised Values" So please help me....

i could not understand how can i set up MARC field with authorities value..i think i have to link wih 850a field with authorities value..But i can not understand how can i link them.please sir help me about this..i could not ad any authorities value in my koha system. First time when i open authorities value admin page there is no data if i add some data then nothing is added..so anybody can help me how can i managed this problem.

E-mail upon issuing?

I'm running 3.0RC1 on a Debian box. Is there any way to automatically send an e-mail receipt to a patron whenever he/she checks out a book? I created a notice with the appropriate message, but I have not been able to find built-in functionality to set up notice rules for events other than item due dates and calendar events. Problem downloading from Z39.50 search

When I download MARC records from Z39.50 search, some records are added just fine, and others are not. Some appear to be added to the database but are not searchable. If I attempt to view those records in the "Normal" view, some or all of the data is missing, but I can see the entire record in the "Complete" view. If I look at the MySQL tables, I can see that data has been written to biblio and marc_biblio tables but no data has been written to the biblioitems and sometimes some of the other tables, such as bibliosubject. I can't find any reason for this, but it is completely consistent with specicific MARC records, If I have a problem with record, I have that problem no matter how many times I delete it and try to re-add it. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be and how how to fix this? Thank you. Paul

Salvete! Thanks Nicole! That's a great manual. I applaud all of the effort you sunk into it. At risk of redundancy, Tariq and I worked on cataloguing as well. Explaining things in more than one way might help, methinks. Things have been done for a little bit now, but I was too lazy to post a link.
