I have a machine with 512 MB of memory and 512 MB swap. When I try to run 'perl Makefile.PL', it completely jams the machine and I get an error message saying: [date and time] mysqld restarted Out of memory! Callback called exit. END failed--call queue aborted. MIME::Lite issues

I am trying to install Koha 3.0 RC1 on Ubuntu 8.04. When I do the Makefile.PL I get a message that MIME::Lite 3.01 is missing. When I do a cpan install MIME::Lite I feedback that MIME::Lite is up to date. Any work arounds? Installation Error of koha3 on fc6

Dear List members, I have a problem with koha3 installation on fc6. Could not find the book by Search

Hi, Please help,I had added biblio from koha administration page and also imported data from another library system,it added successfully. While I had queried that records on command line from tables, for example from biblio table,it had also brought me records successfully. When I had tried search from koha administration page or OPAC pages, it had brought no results. Can you tell what is problem, what I did wrong or did not do. We are use koha 3 beta 2 version on Ubuntu 7.10 OS. Thank you in advance, With regards Anahit

extended patron attribute types

We would like to use Extended patron attribute types as read about in the Koha 3.0 manual. We are running Koha 3.0000067 with Ubuntu and can not find any place to turn it on. We've followed the manual guidelines but don't see it as an option. Is it not available in the version we have? Thanks for any help. 856u can't enter data

Hi, I think I am missing something that I needed to set or link. We are setting up KOHA 3.0 on Ubuntu I am trying to use MARC bibliographic framework CF for general online resources, When I add a new record to the database that is a website 856u is present but I can only type 2 letters into it, not a full website address. Are there other subfields that I should have filled in or links/parameters I should have set? When I go in to edit subfields in the CF framework I see that its KOHA link is biblioitems.url which seems right and I have checked the box that says it is a url. I'm not sure if something should be in the Link field below the checkbox for the url. In item types and circulations codes in administration I added <a href="[856u]">open site</a> in the summary box which does show in a search record as an "open site" link which right now links right back to the present page I have open which is a list of search results for "hmong" ( http://koha-server:8080/cgi-bin/koha cataloguesearch.pl?q=hmong? Using Koha2.2.8-W32-R0. Running on Windows XP Professional. 1. I can't edit any bilio's in Koha as they are all blank, although the book info is there (if selecting "normal" you can see the detail). How can I fix this problem? 2. How can I access the item type images? 3. Some of the reports give me the following (I do not work online). Email address webmaster@dummy-opac doesn't work.
