Joe, The document it is in is http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=ubuntu_gutsy. When I enter: sudo a2ensite koha && sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 reload I get: This site is already enabled! * Reloading web server config apache2 I assume that's what I want? How to save a catal0gue record using Koha 2.2.9

The Court library in PNG is trialing out Koha 2.2.9 . How do we save the record after we have entered new bibliographic record. The template did not have a feature to save record. Can anyone out there advise how this can be done. Thanks Julie Hulama

Can't install Net::Z3950::ZOOM on openSUSE 11.0

I've been following Ricardo's excellent "Installation Guide for Installing Koha 3 on openSUSE 11" http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=opensuse_11.0 Net::Z3950::ZOOM fails even after installing the libyaz packages. I noticed that his guide showed version 1.21 and mine is 1.24. I could try forcing it, but thought I'd check with the list first. I am using koha 2.2.9 on windows xp..and When i click on parametrs->authorised value then cilck on add authorities value and aslo input data but no data is adding.....and there is New catagory option if i also add some data here no data is added...how can i solve that..please help me And i am taking help from that page"http://www.kohadocs.org/usersguide/ch01s03.html" but 3.2 option is not working....which is "Authorised Values" So please help me....

I have installed Perl 5.8.0.802, Apache 2.2.9 and Mysql 5 on Windows 2000 and installed koha 2.2.9 I am getting Error Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@dummy-opac and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apache/2.0.59 (Win32) Server at intranet Port 80 I am not able to understand where i am goin wrong Thanks Ashwini

Problem installing XML::LibXSLT

I am installing Koha 3 on Ubuntu 8 and am getting the following error when attempting to install the Perl module XML::LibXSLT: /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgdbm collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [blib/arch/auto/XML/LibXSLT/LibXSLT.so] Error 1 /usr/bin/make -- NOT OK Running make test Can't test without successful make Running make install make had returned bad status, install seems impossible Can anyone help? Problem installing Yaz on AMD64

I am attempting to install Koha on Ubuntu on an AMD64 machine. At http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=ubuntu_amd64, "Installing Koha on Ubuntu amd64," they say: "..... if you’re planning on using the Zebra plugin then you should download the Yaz source tarball instead, and compile the packages yourself. (This is because installing Net::Z3950::ZOOM will fail because the version of Yaz is too old.)" Having found this to be the case I have folllowed their instructions thus far: "* Download the newest source tarball from ftp.indexdata.dk/pub/yaz and untar it. * Install fakeroot and debhelper with apt-get * cd into the untarred directory, and run “dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -b” * It will probably give you a list of dependent packages that are missing. Install them with apt-get, and repeat the last step." I do not get a list of missing dependent packages.
