how are you getting orders to the vendor?

Hello, We are testing Koha, and as far as I can tell there's no way to export an order ("basket") into a format that could be sent to a vendor, like an Excel or Word document. I'm curious how people are sending order information to the vendor? I can't imagine how one could do without this feature, but current Koha users must be doing it somehow. Thanks. Any Koha people planning to be at the 2009 LITA National Forum in Salt Lake City, NV, USA, October 1-4, 2009? They are soliciting proposals now, but among the requested topics is "Library-specific open source software (OSS) and other OSS "in" Libraries" and digital libraries. If I were more familiar with Koha I'd probably submit a proposal since I'm expecting to go to the meetings anyway. I have been trying to configure LDAP and have a couple of questions: The Wiki says: There are two parts of the KOHA_CONF file (default location: /etc/koha.xml) relevant to LDAP authentication: the configuration stanza itself, and the "switch" line that enables or disables LDAP. The switch appears in the main <config> section, 0 for "off" and 1 for "on",.... Should I take this to mean the koha-conf.xml file? There is no koha.xml file on our installed server? If it is this file, do I simply add the LDAP server options in the config file. I have assumed that is what is needed but I can't figure out where to go from there? Is there an Admin tool to configure/test the LPAD authentication? Thanks Barry

Hello all, First, is there anyone out there who has installed Koha in the Denver Colorado USA area. It would be nice if we could meet and compare notes. I'll buy the beer. Second, I'm trying to get Koha running, and I'm almost there. We're still having occasional problems cataloging books. However, we're successfully checking out books and we've already imported around 10,000 books from our aging Athena system. Koha windows help

Sir My self Zair from Jahangirabad Institute of Technology. I was running Koha 224 version apache 1.3.33 and perl 5.8.7 build 813 and sql 4.0.26 client. Suddenly the system got shutdown and when i opened the computer koha was not working. I tried to reinstall Apache version 2.0 and koha 229 leaving perl and sql the same as it was earlier believing that it will be containing data. but nothing has happened. apache server gave error" could not bind with 0.0.0.0:80". now i have installed koha with apache 2.0.63 sql 4.1.22 and perl 5.8 module and koha 229 version and it is working fine. now the problem is that i have to transfer data from old system to the new one. plz tell me how to do that as we have a lot of data. it would be a great help to me if you could mentioned step by step method to do the same. the other option is that if your could help me in reparing the old koha. if you have any mobile number i can call you. with regards rizvi
